Staff member over the phone was not only patronising but gave me incorrect information which resulted in me purchasing a $100 gift voucher that is non-refundable. FYI Country Road Darwin - when items are sold out online, customers CANNOT purchase items over the phone from interstate CR stores using a gift voucher. Staff in interstate stores were just as patronising when they answered their phones and Head Office no better. Country Road, you have lost a loyal customer of 12 years.
Purchased a pair of pants full price. They went on sale the following week. Never wore the pants, tags on. Store refused to accept return and allow me to repurchase at lower price. This goes against the store’s own stated return policy. Horrible way to treat a customer. The store saved $20 for themselves. Lost a customer. Short sighted and I won’t return. Left me feeling pretty abused by such a big chain.
Very helpful staff, well made clothing, limited range but turns over quickly. Love the spend and save deals that come round regularly.
