Exactly what we expected from somewhere called Country Kitchen - friendly staff, traditional food selection, plenty of space. The old fashioned milk-shakes sum this place up perfectly. The road between Timaru and Oamaru is dull...so sometimes detouring through Waimate breaks the journey up. Country Kitchen fits that theme beautifully.
