Great shopping except for veges and fruit being dearer then other supermarkets.nBiscuits, snack chips more reasonably priced than other supermarkets.nAlways seem to have the best specials on skincare I use or ice-cream.nLove the large scented candle they sell-sweet pea and peony.
Am disappointed with self service orders, again not my fault. My order not in self service locker, after ordering online. I was told there was a mix up with another order. No apology. Previous order, I was told they could not find it, after some exploration on a computer, the staff member found it the front of the doors. Previous issues as well. I totally over countdown in the valley.
Great deal in today's climate for easiyo yoghurtnnHeaps of good deals here if you shop smarter New Zealand,nnThey have a tasty bakery section,nHot cross buns here are always on point when in season. The 40% chocolate biscuits are the best, with a good range of buns and breads. Usually get a decent bag of 6 rolls for burgers.nnEasy as self check out in and out under 5 minutes
Countdown The Valley is a pretty good supermarket, great when compared to other Countdowns. It's pretty large so there is lots of variety of products. The produce is usually nice and fresh, not quite what you would get at a New World, but still good. There is plenty of parking outside and wheelchair accessible entry, etc.
Most helpful re rewards card. Very cheerful lady at fast machine service
