Parking is good, plentiful. Lots of Lamb legs to choose from, great selection. Good selection of wine and the tomatoes i bought looked lovely and fresh. Cream sold out, well, the cheaper brands anyway, so had to go elsewhere. Also, how come you guys don't stock Pavlova Magic? Had to go to New World instead, but prefer Countdown. Not too busy which was nice, and no queuing at checkout.
A good supermarket located in the Northwood shopping center. It has all of the things that modern supermarkets should have. Car parking is challenging at times when its busy because you need eyes everywhere. Take care here. Like all supermarkets these days it's clean, tidy and mostly well stocked. They have very thick steaks and the t-bone is awesome. A note of real concern is the profiteering happening supermarkets. I rate it as expensive.
No fresh lamb and no eggs, basically not enough stuff there, if you can, skip this one. But the checkout lady is nice, bags are free.
I spent nearly $28.00 on Pistachio nuts. Only to find that when I got home and ate some that they were stale. I am not very impressed at all. To spend that much money on something only for them to be stale.
Easy service, Clean and not too busy. On January 8th 2023 Countdown will be open for the last time unfortunately because that was a really good store. If you want to go there you better be quick or otherwise you'll be too late. Update: Countdown is closed forever RIP Countdown Northwood 2010-2023 thanks for the memories over the last 12.5 years as Countdown Northwood & before that Woolworths Northwood 19??/200?-2010 we'll miss you
Was served by a miserable old lady named Janet, very rude and nasty. I guess I would be too if I were her age working at a supermarket, she needs a talking too to work on her customer service skills. Disgusting.
Not a great experience. Produce not well presented. Prices more expensive than countdown supermarkets close by. That might explain the lack of customers in the supermarket. I won't be back.

Quite big store. Much food to choose. Recommend
Busy wee countdown, grab the bits u forgot before heading home.
