Good location of the supermarket on the Middle Renwick Road with a large car park. Wheelchair people are welcome too because the shop is wide. Next door you can find easily the pharmacy, post office and Photoprint.
Vastly Improved with the Extension. Haven't been in the store for about 20mo.ths and it looks so much better.
Friendly helpful team at springlands shelves always stocked. And they pack your groceries best place to shop
Shop is looking old n tired ...staff are genuinely quiet n seen but not heard ... Good range of products but noticing huge increase in prices for vegies n meat n ones basics ... Best part is location good parking n postal boxes available if you need it .
The place looks run down! I am unsure if they are going through a refurbishment, but that could be the only viable reason it looks in such bad shape. Plaster off the walls, floor looks awful, staff weren't in any real uniform either. We were served by a girl in a black Kathmandu jacket. Prices were extortionate too.
Best shopping if not to many people
Staff here are friendlier than that at pak n save.
The Worst Supermarket I Have Ever Been To! To All Future Tourist, Visitor's, To The City Of Blenheim, Please, Do Not Shop At The Countdown Springlands, Please Take A Note Of The Prices On Display, Otherwise You Will Be Overcharged. I Will Give You An Example Below; A Box Of Tiger Beer Was Displayed At $20.00, At The Check Out It Was $22.99. A Bottle Of 2L Milk On Display At $3.79, At The Check Out, $4.10 A Tub Of Meadowlea Margarine Displayed At $3.00, At The Check Out $3.00, The Only Item That Was Charged At Self Price. When I Approached The Manager Of The Store About This, His Response Was, " If You Don't Like It Go And Shop Somewhere Else. " Attitude Out Of A Hundred, 0% Customer Relationship, 0% Out Of 100.
Countdown spring lands is good. Easy to find what you need.
I'm doing shopping here in countdown springlands blenheim always but today I have a bad experience from one of the cashier staff named Zara, I bought a prepackaged prawn and a big watermelon she commented the prawn that "oh still have legs and eyes popped out its really look scary! And she ask me about the watermelon if I know that the prize is by weight and it is a $3.50 per kg.as she can see that I get the huge one.If you are the service cashier it is a good comment for your costumer? Is she doubting that I can't afford to buy the stuff I'm getting.!!!!!!!?????
