I used to consider this my local Woolworths due to its convenient location near my home. Unfortunately, repeated experiences with both staff and security have left my wife and I feeling more like suspects than customers, even when dressed in our professional work attire.nnIt’s disheartening to say, but the treatment we’ve received makes it clear that the issue isn’t how we dress or what we do for work, but rather how we’re perceived because of the colour of our skin. On numerous occasions, we’ve been followed through aisles or had staff and security linger conspicuously nearby, making their suspicion obvious.nnNo one should feel unwelcome or targeted while doing something as simple as grocery shopping. I’ve decided I will no longer support this store with my business.
