Clean and tidy. Well stocked. Lovely staff.nPity about the low life guy in there swearing cursing and generally being nasty. No need for it. I felt very sorry and afraid for the staff. Also my 10 year old granddaughter had to witness this appalling behavior.
I’ve been going for months, several times a week.nI always pay at self checkout and on top returns the basket to make life easy for the staff and before I leave I thank the self checkout clerk for the help and leave. Staff sees me every day.nToday I did the same, thanked the lady there and proceeded to leave and this woman yell at me to come back and repeat a “thank you”??? Are you guys ok?!? Even the security guy came in my direction like I was suspicious for just being polite.nClean your ears next time and don’t treat nice customers of your supermarket like criminals and then actual criminals walkout without consequences after stealing entire trolleys of items.nWhat a disappointment. Just close already.
I have been going to Countdown Onehunga for a long time because it's basically the only sizable supermarket in the area. My main complaint is there scamming there customers by pretending to reduce certain items, for instance wine which is reduced in price on the self with a new ticket but when the item is scanned onto the checkout via its barcode the reduction is not given the original price is charged,with the customer being well and truly ripped off, because they rely on customers never really checking their receipt in detail . This has happened to me no less than four times,on every occasion I have told staff and complained,but nothing has changed and they continue to cheat and scam and deceive people. So everyone should check their receipt and get a refund and report them to the appropriate authorities, which is what I have done.
I sick of going here and watching people walk out without pay, they have the most unfit lazy security on hence why they are a major target. yet I have to pay more for my grocery shopping to cover cost of loss. I understand is a nationwide problem, but seriously sort it. next time I see it happening I will stop the person myself. this can not and will not continue
