Below average product for the price you are paying. 25-year warranty, but what does it cover? Absolutely nothing. Bought some Silestone slabs thinking European quality was better, but the Chinese stones in my rental are far superior. Would avoid Silestone at all costs. They will find any excuse to weasel their way out of any liability.
We were looking forward to visiting the showroom and seeing the selections on display but we were met with an unfriendly lady working on the showroom yesterday. She was condescending and unfriendly and not the slightest bit helpful. It didn't take long for us to leave and go to Caesarstone around the corner. What a difference in service and attitude ! It also made me think that if we were to have a issue with the product in the future, which Company would deal with after sales issues better ? I think I know the answer .
We had Silestone Calcatta gold installed 5 months ago. The “best quality” and most popular stone on offer. Read: very expensive. The stone is terrible quality, no durability and lives up to zero of its impressive claims. In 5 months my stone has sustained 5 chips and 3 large scratches. Consentino do not feel my product is defective so this must be its standard performance. Stick with an alternative brand if you’re wanting a durable stone that will last. The Silestone warranty only covers spontaneous combustion. Lauren
