This is the second time I have gone to this cafe with bad service and awful food. The first time I went I got a spinach ricotta filo it tasted like mud was it it. I got a banana milk shake which tasted like banana essence and milk no actual flavour. OK so I though maybe I should try something their cooking again so today I went there I asked do you do bacon and eggs they said no so I said I'll just have eggs on toast and bacon on the side which o don't mind paying extra, the guy serving me could not understand English and said oh bacon doesn't come with your meal, but it clearly says in breakfast extras that I can pay for 1 piece of bacon. But no the guy couldn't understand so I just said don't worry. The poached eggs were more like hard boiled and no salt or pepper. I asked for a warm coffee and got a coffee so hot that i couldn't hold the cup. I'm sorry to say that I will never be going back to you again your service was bad and your food was awful. It's sad because it's a nice cafe but you just lost a customer but don't worry I'll be sure to tell all my friends and family too because I'm so disappointed 😠

Fabulous hammy cheesy crossaints, always very timely service, always fabulous coffee and the cutest little syrup pourers you ever saw. Corner One has never disappointed me, I am one satisfied customer.

This used to be my husband's and my favourite cafe, untill it changed ownership then the service started slipping. Recently they renovated and everything slipped. You wait up to 5 minutes just to get your coffee and then it's delivered nearly cold and given a look as if it's a real effort. Recently we went there with our daughter who has an allergy to dairy and asked for a lactose free milk and was given full cream milk instead - lucky for them she tasted the difference. Well there are other cafés in the centre. It would be nice if the male working there would learn to speak better English.
