Story

A beautiful little backpackers hostel located in Coolangatta on the Gold Coast.
We're across the highway from Bilinga beach, a 5 minute walk away from the Gold Coast airport and about a 30 minute drive from Surfers Paradise.
Our hostel is open plan with plenty of courtyards and gardens to chill out in, we have a games room, a pool, completely equipped kitchen, a free courtesy bus, BBQ, TV room, laundry facilities and lockers.
Coolangatta YHA is the perfect place for you to begin your QLD adventure or your weekend getaway.

The cheapest I could find. 5 (!) Minutes walk from the airport. Decent rooms no aircon. Cool environment and activities by the hostel. Highly recommended for couple of nights when you land here.

Very basic hostel style accommodation but comfortable. Staff are friendly , helpful & totally honest ( ie I dropped my wallet with all my$ at check in , it was returned intact before I even knew it was missing)

For a backpacker in Australia, this was a great place. It was clean and very tidy, not to mention very close to the airport if you have early flights. We stayed here two nights and had a rental car and there were parks available to park it. The bedrooms were well cleaned, simple and had fresh sheets. The kitchen was very large and there was plenty of spaces to sit down and eat your meal. The only downside was the place was hard to find, this is because there is two streets in the area with the same name, so check on google maps so that you don't get lost like we did. The area is pretty and not too far from the breaches where you can swim and I think also there is a small shopping area in Coolangatta which is really nice and has a supermarket for all your shopping needs.

Nice and clean. The fridge could be better (you have to go inside to get your stuffs).

Superb stay for backpackers, up to some extent good for families as well. We could get grocery and cook on our own I’m available kitchen. They had all the utensils and gas available
