I have been with commbank for over 30 years always been very good until my last experience at Helensvale I applied for a  type of small mortgage loan as I have a fixed mortgage with them I was pre approved and told how much my repayments would be I asked other questions that’ were unanswered, I also mentioned to her loans manager how commbank have been so good to me over the years and to my surprise she replied oh that’s a first usually it’s all negative feedback I felt uncomfortable and lost faith from that moment. after 15-20 minutes when I was told I would be contacted within a few days I walked out and said thank you have a nice weekend I got not one word from her as she just looked up like I was not there.nSo three days had passed with no response as told so I text her no reply so the next day 5th day I called and left a voicemail no response so 6 days later I emailed her and she responded with an email I did not understand so I replied I don’t understand?nA full seven days passed so I canceled out and went elsewhere

They’re truly a horrible bank, planned outages in the middle of the day on a weekend. Then they take longer than planned. Money takes forever to come back into accounts if refunded from stores. Don’t waste your time chose a different banknnAnother planned outage customers weren’t notified about. Only a week later. Why so many planned outages in such a short amount of time. Especially during school holidays. I’ll be switching banks

I don’t like the treatment by the staff they demand you sign in and ask you questions that compromise safety such as how much money you want and what other service you need very loudly in full view of other people before they make you fill these iPads with these details in a crowded front room before they willnSlow you to speak to a  staff member. It made me feel unsafe and quite concerned. Not a professional bank may not continue to bank with them. Maybe twenty years too long.

I went to CommonWealth bank in Helensvale branch today and the service was absolutely unacceptable. I spoke to chantele at the front desk. I was told to wait 30 minutes, but ended up waiting over an hour. I was told someone in the back office would help me, only to be told later that she actually wasn’t seeing you. Then I was given the excuse that the computer was down, yet I watched them assist other customers who arrived after me.nnIt was very clear that I was being treated differently. The tone, the attitude, the dismissal — it felt discriminatory and disrespectful. I don’t go into a bank to be ignored, lied to, and pushed aside. My time matters just as much as any other customer’s.nnIf this is how certain staff choose to treat people who look a certain way or come from certain backgrounds, it’s disgusting and shameful. I will be taking my concerns higher because no customer should be made to feel like they are less important. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

There have been so many times CBA have had major outages in the past few years. Unable to access my banks to transfer money during significant parts of my day, to get fuel, get groceries, get lunch, pay important bills etc. It is getting quite ridiculous. I will be changing banks because CBA are no longer trustworthy in my eyes. I understand it’s not the people that work at the bank branches fault these outages happen, but I am so incredibly frustrated & fed up with the stress your customers endure during these major outages. You are such a large bank with millions of customers. do better.
