Very poor customer service....doesn't try to help customer...they just want to get rid of them

Choosing this bank is an objective waste of your time and money and I can prove it. My debit card expired in May. It's been over two months, still waiting for it (a replacement card is meant to be issued before the old one expires). Don't have a credit card, nor do I have the have the desire to get one. So no online transactions without linking my account directly to people. Cant go overseas, cant buy stuff online, unable to use services such as uber, etc and the list goes on. After multiple email/phone exchanges (spread out over the course of about a month due to them telling you each time to wait 10-14 days) I decided matters should be taken into my own hands and I was going to speak face-to-face with someone. Today was the FOURTH time I entered the branch in regards to this issue, twice I spoke with a teller, once a replacement manager (Branch manager on holiday at the time. Good for her, she earned it) and then today with the manager herself. Each time I spoke to somebody I explained that if I don't get the card, I wasn't driving down there to be told "the card's on its way" again. Everytime the tellers/any manager told me that everything was fine, this happens, the card's DEFINITELY on its way & there's nothing they could do. (I've had a replacement card delayed before, with different banks including commbank, none of this has been normal). The Branch manager took every oppertunity possible in our meeting to stress different ways I could look at the situation, play themselves off as unable to do anything or just basically anything to end the meeting and make me deal with it. People, in general, don't deserve that disrespect unprompted. Even after explaining specific living circumstances in my life, the way this was effecting & stagnating me and my family and basically asked them other than simply being a customer of the Commonwealth bank, what have I done and what could I possibly do? And even if this has been a mailing issue, now that you and the branch are aware of the whole situation and how useless I am to effect things, what can you do?... "....... I dunno." Definition of incompetence and my complaints are nowhere close to ending at this google review.

While trying to explain what we were after to the teller, she rudely asked if I was my fiancés Mother. . . He is 4 years younger than me.

It is very hard to get your debit card activated and ready for online banking, if you don't have an australian phone number.
