The touch screen ATM's are useless.nThe screens are faded and you have to press each selection at least 10 times before it recognises you pressing it. Not a very hygienic situation.nFurthermore, they are covered in grime and it's plain to see that it's not just a week's worth. They have that deep, ingrained dirt and have been ignored for along time.nIt's unfair the amount of money Commonwealth makes but they won't treat their customers with the dignity of a clean, functional ATM.nWhat's worse is that they have been like that for years.
Where do I even start? Commonwealth Bank is by far the worst bank I’ve dealt with. The only branch in my town is a rundown mess. If you try to use the coin deposit machine after hours, there’s often someone sleeping in the branch who gets upset if you enter. The coin machine itself is slow and unreliable, Westpac across the road is far quicker and more accurate. Because it’s the only branch, it’s always busy, and waiting isn’t always an option. Then, when you try to resolve issues online, they tell you to go into the branch, only for the branch staff to send you back online. It’s a frustrating cycle with no solution.
Went there to deposit some cash into my granddaughters bank account & was told that I would have to go online & register to deposit cash & then use a machine to actually deposite the cash. Absolutely disgraceful banking practices, it's got me scratching my head why anyone bank's with them at all.
The manager, Sally asked me to leave, or she would call security.nShe said she only deals with Commonwealth Bank customers.nI told her I was, and even that the CBA rated me with an exceptional credit rating 928.nnThat was on the 15th of May. I complained to the head office, and they brushed me off as well.nnI have complained several times, and I have yet to receive a call from anyone at the Commonwealth Bank.nnI think they had no time for me, as I have several disabilities.nI thought discrimination was against the law, but obviously not if you are as big as the Commonwealth Bank.nI am screen saving this, as I am sure that , this review will disappear in seconds.nnMatthew Brennan
I have found the staff to be highly professional and they know their job. The staff address you by name, which is immediately welcoming and they help you solve your issues without any drama. They are hard working and I believe they need a bigger branch and more staff to deal with the amount of people who walk through the door. Well done to you all.
