Best raw, organic & vegan food in Melbourne @combielwood serving the Elwood community with the wholesomeness of their healthy food and drinks, especially the smoothies.nnWhat we had:nnSummer special virgin Bloody Mary Shack smoothie is a must try, it’s not too spicy but very very refreshing to drink this on a hot summer day.nnMango shack smoothie is very filling and tasty and all their smoothies have nut milk.nnShrooms on toast is perfect for mushroom lovers, with the whipped feta was amazing on the toast and the balsamic reduced sauce was very fresh and yum. Highly recommendnnPeanut butter açai bowl was very decadent and delicious loaded with so much of fruits and berries and generous serving of peanut butter. Must try.nnThey are very busy on weekends and we noticed it is a locals’ favourite spot for smoothies. And after trying their smoothies, I can see why. The service is prompt and the staff are all so welcoming and friendly folks.nnThe cafe itself has a very Byron bay charm since they originated there. And you will have a good time here.nnI can’t wait to go back to try more of their smoothies and food,
This is the spot to visit when you are craving a healthy meal like a sandwich or wanting something more sweet like an açai bowl. They have a variety of drink options including smoothies and coffee.nnI had the pumpkin and kale toastie with pesto which was very filling and tasty. The açai bowl I had was topped with berries, banana, peanut butter & cacao nibs and was very healthy. The smoothie I chose was a chocolate protein that left me full and very refreshed!
The food is truly delicious and this restaurant has a unique vibe! I think I’m going to fall in love with it. Even though I ate a lot, I feel so comfortable it’s probably because everything is eco-friendly Thank you!
The quality of the food here has really dropped in the last few months. Combi used to have good quality sourdough and gluten free breads for their toasties/meals but now the bread is very cheap and tasteless. Presentation of meals is also quite sloppy. I had the beans on toast and it was very unappetising. I go here all the time but I’ve been disappointed the last few times which is such a pity because this place used to have such a good buzz and healthy, good quality food.
Combi is a fantastic local cafe!nI absolutely love the “liquid passion”, which is perfectly balanced and refreshing.nThe staff are very friendly, and the cafe has a lovely atmosphere.nHighly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
