I don’t like to write reviews, but this is bad.nThe moment staff members get to know that customer is coming to ask where the item is they run into the other direction so fast and even when we go to them and say excuse me, they just pretended to that they didn’t hear that it is so annoying it’s not a rare incident. It happens most of the times The only thing that staff have to help you is help me to find items and they are so afraid of it like what’s so hard about that. Customer is asking it because he she is unable to find that and you know exactly where it is, most importantly. You are paid to do that. Why don’t you leave your job if you don’t want to do that I’m sorry, but that’s the truth. It must have happened with all of you guys. If not, I’m sure it will happen.
Well stocked shop lots of parking.nWas a homeless guy near the liquorland eying off my car and caravan.nThats why i only gave this shop 3 stars would have been 5 star otherwise.
I came to collect a customer’s order and parked right across from the pickup area because there were no available parking spots at the time. Then a staff member came out and asked why I didn’t park in the pickup spot. Honestly, that was ridiculous — it’s only a few steps away, not difficult at all. If walking a short distance is such a problem, then don’t work there. The attitude was really bad.
im wondering if instead of having 3 staff members chatting and trying to convince shoppers to use the crowded and congested self checkouts, maybe one or two of the staff in that group can maybe open another checkout ?,i mean you have so many checkouts and all but one is closed, although, ive never been accused of being intelligent.
I live in town so this is my go-to supermarket. I prefer the modern feel to it than the other big one in town which has a run-down vibe to it. Most products are usually in stock, they have a fair amount of specials and the staff in general are friendly. Somewhat annoyingly, the self-service areas that have the long conveyers are often taped off meaning you have to use one of the cramped ones that aren't great for larger shops. Of course you'll have a staff member watching you like a hawk even though I go there all the time I feel like a criminal but I guess due to all the scum in town trying it on they're only doing their job. Parking is generally OK unless it's at peak times with Lime Street feeling increasingly like Swanston Street. Occasionally you'll have a beggar outside making you feel uneasy but overall it's generally a good experience shopping at Coles.
