Nice friendly staff that make you feel welcome. A kind person makes a lot of difference to your shopping trips rather than robots with no feelings. Call me old fashion but I like friendly happy people that make your day a little brighter.
We were in Coles later in the night and considered buying a hot chicken. The manager/attendant saw us, had a friendly chat with us & promptly halved the price of the chickens. It was a pleasure to visit.
I’m new to the area and been in a couple of times where I haven’t interacted with staff, a few days back I was waiting at the Deli and it was quiet with 1 staff member serving and another infromt of me not acknowledging me, I asked if she was serving and she said “I can if you want” of course I want that as I’m standing waiting.nnShe did tell me after that she needed to get the hot chickens out, I get that but I don’t feel a good experience when staff ignore you.nnHope to update a better review in the future or go to another store

I went to Coles Stockland Hervey Bay to collect my Click & Collect last night after my partner and I had finished work. I ordered a few things to cook dinner with last night. We took the bags to the car to discover that the two brioche buns in my order had been substituted with two whole loaves of white bread. We also came to discover that we had been given the wrong type of cheese.nnMy partner and I took our bags back in and were told to go and find the correct cheese and the brioche buns I had included in my order to exchange these two products.nnThe brioche buns were an easy find, but I had a hard time finding the provolone cheese. I asked a man named Keith for assistance. Keith and I searched through the cheese section and had no luck, but he was eager to find a solution for me and headed over to the deli section and returned with the provolone I had ordered.nnUpon my partner and I returning to the front of the store after a bit of a goose chase, Keith rushed around to another aisle and presented us with a box of Favourites chocolates for the inconvenience.nnI would like to extend my gratification to Keith and his wonderful service last night. It is workers like Keith that make experiences like this turn around for the better.nnThanks again Keith - 5 stars for you!!
