The $10-combo is affordable for a meal or you want to consider the hot food produced by the Coles kitchen.nnThere is a rich stock of products and self serve checkout.nnThe prices are low probably because there are 2 other major supermarkets nearby. Total competition in a free market brings benefits to customers as an economic principle.
Not a half bad store, seems to have most things in stock, doesn't have many problems from what I can see.
At approximately 5pm today I was attacked by a person in an aisle at Prahran Coles suprmarket It was unprovoked and came as a great shock. She was babbling about the plight of young children in her country and chose to be aggressive with me. I was slapped twice across my face .nThere was no security to be seen as the incident was unfolding and I'm sure that someone had already reported about it.nI'm grateful for the protection of another female customer who stood in between the assailant and myself while risking her own well being.She protected me and walked me to the self service area from the aisle and stayed with me till the security came. Thank you for the hug you gave me. I would like to meet you again to thank you properly. My mobile number is with Coles management .You seemed to be the only one who cared when the incident was happening .By this time I was reacting to the shock and crying.nOn a positive note I was offered water and some staff showed concern.nThe security and another manager took my details and stayed with me till a family member picked me up.nHowever Im disappointed that response from the security was so slow. My question is ,was there only one security on duty? I have been informed that people similar to tthe assailantunstable?? frequent Coles Prahran regularly. Why is there not increased security for safety of customers if this is the case.nThe outcome today could have been worse .nI'm requesting Management of Coles to look at this matter urgently for the safety of all customers.
I hate to give a bad review but I won’t be returning to this calls, if I can help it. Why? Parking. This will probably be an okay Coles if you were on foot, but driving in was the worst idea. I circled the block a couple of times and then had to park in the underground paid car park close by and walk across. I’ll give the place a few stars. It is reasonably similar to most of the Coles supermarkets inside.
