It’s my pleasure to share my greatnexperience at Coles Prahran, duringnmy recent trip to Melbourne.nIt is housed in a very big space, nvery clean and all the aisles werenwell stocked. All the items werennicely price tagged which is verynessential for the convenience ofncustomers.nStore was clean and all the itemsnwere well organised and properlynstacked.Fruits and vegetables werenfresh and reasonably priced.nStaff was very friendly and lovento help the customers to make their shopping great.nLove to visit and recommend to visit this store again in future!
I recently interacted with Coles regarding an online order, and the experience reinforced my confidence in their customer service. One of the items I purchased online arrived in poor condition. When I visited the store to address the issue, I did not have the invoice, only the transaction details from my bank account.nnDespite this, the staff handled the situation with professionalism and efficiency. They promptly issued a refund and provided a practical solution that resolved the issue completely. Their courteous and attentive approach turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a smooth and reassuring one.nnWhat stood out most was Coles’ commitment to customer satisfaction; demonstrating that effective service is measured not only by policies, but by the ability to provide real solutions. For anyone valuing reliability and supportive service, Coles proves to be a dependable choice.
Very disappointing service from a staff named My. I went to purchase gift card through self-checkout, and the staff member told me I couldn’t use the self-checkout for gift card purchases only after I’ve scanned the cards. I told her I’ve used self checkout to purchase gift cards before and instead of explaining the reason behind this policy she spoke to me in a condescending manner throughout the interaction, which made me feel unwelcome. There was another customer who purchased gift cards at self checkout with no problem with a different staff member approving the purchase, so apparently your employee My have her personal policies at this store. If there is a genuine policy, it should be applied consistently and communicated respectfully.
Very disappointed with the overall experience. This was probably the worst Coles shopping experience I’ve ever had.nnThe older staff member with the long beard at the checkout was unhelpful and unfriendly. He seemed to spend more time chatting and walking around than actually helping customers.nnOn another visit, two staff members made a mistake with my payment and couldn’t seem to resolve it. I was asked to wait for their manager, who came back after 10–15 minutes but still couldn’t help and told me to contact customer service. The first customer service staff member also couldn’t resolve the issue, even after checking with her manager and kept kicking the ball away. I called again and finally spoke to another customer service staff who sorted the thing out, he was the only one switched on in this case, the others were just goofing around. I had to go through a big circle to let them to fix an error caused by their system.nnParking is also very difficult to find, and there are often people hanging around the entrance on Chapel Street, which makes the area feel quite uncomfortable.
The girl on the checkout named Natalie was really helpful!! She had strong energy and great smile
