The store is clean. Unfortunately, there were multiple areas lacking in stock, or the stock was behind empty boxes. A large number of staff were filling online orders, making it difficult to manoeuvre up and down the aisles, and this contributed to the stock issue. The staff member who served us was lovely even though her sign was up to use another register. She ended up taking the sign down as the store was busy, and there was only 1 other register open with staff to help. I know it's the way the world is going, but not everyone likes using self-serve checkouts. Unfortunately, customer service is becoming a thing of the past with self-serve checkouts and staff busy filling online orders and no staff to help on the shop floor. Very
The most well stocked cokes I have ever been to. Has fresh produce, bakery, dairy, just about every frozen or prepackaged product you can think of.
Waited two hours I the carpark to pick up an online order that they now say I will never get. Nothing like leaving your customers in the lurch on Christmas Eve. I cannot understand why you made me wait - then send a text telling me you will contact me when it’s ready and when I call yet again tell me it’s cancelled. So Cruel
After waiting patiently for 15 minutes, I asked Lyn about the availability of the roast chicken. She informed me with a sneer that she was preparing it but gave no clear indication of how long it would take. I continued waiting, but when I politely asked her to prepare a chicken for me, her response was unacceptably rude and unprofessional. Lyn handed me the chicken in a manner that felt abrupt, with an unnecessary attitude of anger and arrogance.nnWhile I understand that busy moments happen in a retail environment, the manner in which I was treated lacked basic customer service courtesy. Had she simply communicated the timing or the process more clearly, I would not have been left feeling so frustrated. This incident left me dismayed, and I believe it warrants attention to ensure such behavior does not impact other customers in the future. Be helpful and respectful to customers lady! If there’s a rating of zero, this lady deserves nothing! This is an HR issue that Coles needs to address immediately to assess whether she is fit to work in this environment!
