Easter Saturday morning and I have never seen it so busy. Coles were really well prepared with lots of staff and full shelves. I am usually happy to use self checkout but I was able to go through an empty staffed checkout straight away. That made it a stress free shopping experience.
Came in this morning to grab a few things on the way to work, but was disgusted by the state of this store. It is quite obvious that this store needs a deep clean or at least any clean. While the store itself was clean the rubbish on the shelves left me feeling gross, I don’t want to have to rummage through garbage and empty boxes to shop for my groceries. My day would have been ruined if it was not for the Woolworths next door

The store is always clean and well-maintained, with a wide selection of fresh produce, bakery items, and everyday essentials. The staff are consistently friendly and eager to help, making my shopping trips hassle-free. I also appreciate how easy it is to find everything I need, thanks to the well-organized aisles and clear signage. Whether I'm stocking up for the week or just grabbing a few things, Coles Capalaba offers a top-notch shopping experience every time!
If you charge people money for bags you better make sure they're strong enough to hold the crap you're selling next time. Bag broke. Groceries fell out. Your overpriced ice cream on a stick got squished
I am well able to use self serve checkouts for small amounts of groceries.nHowever when I have a large number of items in my trolley and there is not even 1 manned checkout I am not pleased.nI managed, while all the time 2 staff members, presumably keeping an eye on checkouts stood there chatting.nNext time I will leave my trolley for staff to put the goods away.nNot good enough. Could you have at least 1 manned checkout open? PLEASE!nRant over!
