Pretty much your standard Coles. Didn't have any manned checkouts which I dislike especially when you have a lot of shopping. All in all the supermarket coles at capalaba is a nice store with some good specials. It has a bakery, deli, fresh fruit and vegetables.
Fruit and vegetable manager confronted by mother for taking leafs off of the cauliflower which is fed to our guinea pigs keep in mind she just takes a few here and there, not stripping them all raw. He yelled at and intimiated her and got in her face. Other customers even take the cauliflowers and rip the leafs off and leave them there knowing shes coming. My mother is a little woman and he was a large man which shook her. I can understand if this is an issue however it is so easy to approach and kindly as her to stop, in which she would have. What disgusting behaviour, it doesn't cost to be kinder.
Online complaints form doesn't work. All this money Coles makes and you cannot operate a website effectively. Very poor.nnI will be submitting a formal complaint against an extremely rude and aggressive staff member, that me and my mother had to deal with yesterday. Absolutely disgusting attitude on this girl, she should be nowhere near customers or customer facing roles. Luckily for me I live interstate, but my family shop here and shouldn't be subjected to verbal abuse while asking for a simple request.
One of my regular supermarkets. I must shop at least 2 to 3 times a week there. Sometimes more. Know the place by heart. I know what I'm getting when I buy. I've come to trust the quality of the vast majority of the items I buy. Prices are good and there are always specials. The staff are for the most part friendly and very helpful when an enquiry is made.
The issue with large shopping center Coles is getting to your vehicle and this one is no different. Parking at busy times is tricky and if you have issues pushing a heavy trolley to your car you may struggle. The store itself is large and has a full variety of products.
