If you're a regular shopper here, you might want to join their rewards program – actually saves you some money in the long run. My husband and I do our big monthly shop here, and it's generally reliable. The produce section is well-maintained, though sometimes the exotic fruits are overripe. Staff are helpful when you can find them! Evening shopping is usually quieter. Wish they'd expand their international food section and maybe add more vegan options. But overall, it's a decent local supermarket.
Convenience shopping NOT. No checkout or very few employees due to mismanagement and greed, expecting the customer, the buyer, the person with money to spend, to deal with a system that does not work and requires a dense, rude, arrogant, and nasty employee to fix it constantly. Might buy 1 share in this company and then sue the principle shareholder for billions.
The few staff who are working are lovely….only one staff member operating a checkout with the rest self serve. Waited 15min in line to spend my $300+ and be served by a staff member. Will choose to go elsewhere in future
I want to sat a BIG THANK YOU to the young man on duty at the self checkout at Coles @ Kmart Plaza yesterday afternoon around 6.00pm, I had bumped into a post walking through the carpark and tore a large chunk of skin off the back of my hand, being older it made quite a mess, I kept waking into the Plaza and headed straight to Coles to buy a bandage, I saw this young man and asked if he could give me a bandaid, he immediately went to a drawer and pulled out a first aid kit and handed me a small blue bandaid asking would it be suitable? Once he saw my hand he searced for a larger wound dressing, he never hesitated to help me even though his post was to check people at the self checkout. I want his parents to know what a good job they have done raising such a fine young man and I'm sure they are very proud of. I hope Coles acknowledge this young man's kindness and respect.
Great for shopping. Restaurants around the area. Pharmacy is also available. Close to KMART too. ATM's around. Lots of Parking available. Coles has great offers, they have friendly and helpful staff. Just be careful crossing from parking to shops vice versa, some crazy people don't know the meaning of shared road area specially with your little one's.
