This Cole is great, but each time i go do my shopping I always encounter the same worker that either HATE her job or just plain RUDE. She’s older, she's blonde, and is always at the self-checkout. She’s so passive agressive towards everyone that’s asking for help which is her job. Always feeling annoyed, at everything and everyone. I didn’t wanted to write this review but after the 10th time, i jumped on here and found out from a previous review that someone left that im not the only one feeling the same about this worker. Rude just rude!!! Please don’t hire people that hate customer service, or just being they’re older doesn’t mean they have more experience.
I visited the store about 7–8 minutes before closing, but when I went to pay, I was told the registers were already closed and they couldn’t take my payment. This was quite disappointing, as customers who enter before closing should still be able to complete their purchases. I would strongly recommend reviewing management practices to ensure tills remain open until the official closing time, and that customers are checked before shutting down. A little more attention to this detail would make the experience much smoother and more customer-friendly.
Store makes you feel like you need to be part of special operations police force. I can imagine they have a high volume of shoplifting, but I also feel they monitor the wrong ones, to appear to management they are doing their job. Maybe they should provide customers with body worn cameras upon entry, make it easier for them.
I’m a regular shopper at this Coles, spending $200–$300 weekly. Today, while carrying three large Coles heavy-duty bags filled with groceries, I realized I didn’t have a coin for a trolley. I politely asked a staff member for assistance, but she rudely replied, “You have to bring your own coin,” and turned her back on me.nnAs a loyal customer, I found this dismissive attitude unacceptable. A simple gesture of help or basic courtesy would’ve gone a long way. I hope Coles addresses this kind of poor customer service.
