Strange - I thought if somewhere is open until midnight that means I can stroll in and purchase the items I want. 
Tonight at 11:53pm I went to stroll in but was met with "we're closed." Now, I'm particularly good at reading. I read the sign as saying they closed a midnight. And, being the helpful informative person I am I let the guy working know that they should surely be open for a further 7 minutes as their sign says. I pointed to their photocopied black and white A4 picture blutacked to their window whilst holding up 7 fingers to leave in no uncertain terms that I think - given the sign that they put in their window says - that I should be OK to enter and purchase the couple of items I wish to purchase! 
But no! The gentlemen inside who seemed to be getting to out of date milk from the fridge yelled back "we're closed!"
I guessed maybe he didn't understand what I was saying so I tapped the A4 black and white photocopy on the window some more. This seemed to work after about 20 seconds. At which point - through grated teeth and a scowl - he unlocked the door. I sauntered on through to purchase my sugar free redbull and banana custard donut. He didn't say a word and had the scowl that could kill a kitten. I thought maybe he's had a rough night so I made sure after my purchase to wish him all the best. He then, after my exit, turned off all the lights as not to attract any more people wishing to make a purchase between 11:54pm and midnight (when they actually close). I guess this business doesn't like making sales during their listed business hours? 
Long story short, the most difficult sugar free red bull and banana custard donut purchase at 11:53pm on a Friday night I've ever made. I'll be back, but I'll be sure to tap the window more.

Employees are really nice, and there is just about everything for your car (petrol pump, air pressure as well as a K-mart service station next door. However on the inside, the range of products is somewhat abysmal. 😐

I generally like this Coles Express. It's a little but expensive with all the extra items like energy drinks and chips but it's kept in great condition, the location is very convenient and I love the new mural on the outside all.

Staff are great but done expect to get any hot food (pies) unless you come in at very specific times, thankfully there is an awesome fish and chip store right next door.

I'm pretty sure they put this Shell here so if you don't like this one, you can go down the road.
