I recently underwent a transaction with Joe, who was representing his client. Joe and his client purchased one of the best one bedroom apartments in Crows Nest off market , it was his persistence that ensured he and his client inspected before any other buyers. As a selling agent I interact with a lot of buyers agents and I must say Joe is a very good operator. Highly recommend Joe to assist with your purchase.

We were looking for a house for 4 years across two states. It wasn't until we enlisted Leon Jacques and the Cohen Handler team that we were able to finally find the right place for us, at the right price.  Leon's approach was professional, warm, and encouraging. Having him along at inspections helped clarify what we liked or what could be better. He was calm, collected, and at times reminded us of our own brief.  Sammi Burgess helped out with getting to inspections, finalising contracts, and most importantly keeping my wife calm and happy.  The Cohen Handler team made sure that all details were right. Videos of each property were sent to me during a stint in hospital, or when I just couldn't get to an inspection.  We got our weekends back.  Highly recommended. Worth every penny.

Cohen handler buyers agent were a very professional group to deal with. They made the whole process of buying a property in Sydney simple and easy. Leon Jacques knowledge of the Sydney market was incredible and he could answer any question I asked almost straight away. His team were wonderful to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble and communication was excellent. He accommodated the fact I’ve been in the USA for the entire process and made himself available at all hours of the day. My experience has been wonderful and I’m so pleased with the property they eventually found me.

The prospect of selling a home we had just renovated and worked so incredibly hard on was very frightening as we had been through so much to get the house where it was. There was too much at stake, so much emotion and too much to organise given that we were relocating interstate and anxiety levels were through the roof. When a friend put me in touch with Julie and explained that there was no cost involved to me and after hearing a convincing argument as to how Julie could help us, I was immediately relieved and knew I had nothing to lose. This is a full service for anyone needing a little or a lot of help in selling their home. Julie is calm in the face of a storm and highly attuned to the property market. She held our hands during the entire process. We moved our family out of the house to the other side of Sydney during the campaign and Julie took over from there ensuring that the property was perfect for every inspection. We couldn’t have been happier with the result we achieved. After selling and moving to the buying side and viewing so many properties over the past 12 months I can see how many sellers would benefit from this service which really is a full- time job if you want to achieve the best outcome.  I put a friend of mine in touch with Julie as she was unable to know what or who to believe and was truly struggling and alone in selling her home. After the sale of her property she called me to thank me and said that there was absolutely no doubt Julie helped her to achieve a better result than she would have otherwise and that anyone who is not a selling expert should hire this service. Julie came into her own in this situation to ensure everyone stayed honest and that all shoulders were put to the wheel.

Joe is professional, has great communication skills and market knowledge. He provided opportunities that were off market as well as on market. He handled all the negotiations for me, which is how I managed my nab my fabulous apartment which was purchased on market. I knew I could trust Joe when I asked him to make an offer on a place and he said no! He explained it was a premium price for a less than premium product and I could get something better. This example demonstrates he doesn’t want to simply get people off his books but wants genuinely happy clients who are stoked with the outcome.

I recently worked with Leon & Sammi on the purchase of a property in Elizabeth Bay. As a selling agent in the inner city, I work with a lot of different buyers agents. Working with Leon, it’s clear that he always has his clients best interests front of mind, however he wants to strike a fair outcome for both the buyer and the seller. He’s a great negotiator, an excellent communicator, fast to complete any property due diligence and is incredibly fair and transparent. This is the second time I’ve worked with him on a sale and would have no hesitations recommending him to anyone needing assistance in sourcing a property and negotiating on their behalf. Professionalism, integrity, persistence, and calm - qualities that Joe, and Cohen Handler, bought to the search. After a couple of years, and dozens of inspections, for us frustration had set in. Never quite found the one - there were always compromises that never justified the price being asked.  Joe bought renewed focus and energy - he kept us involved, educated, and supported through out.  He respected when we said no, but sought to understand why, and the next opportunity he bought was always an improvement over the previous.  Then, after just 8 weeks, he cracked it.  An off-market that we would never have seen if not for Joe.  The one - we immediately wanted it - Joe kept us in the race - and 48hours later, offer accepted.  We have no doubt this home would not be ours if not for Joe.  His experience, relationships, knowledge gave us an edge, and a result.

We received fabulous service from Tammy who knew exactly how to support us throughout the purchase. She is a very knowledgeable and safe pair of hands to conduct a negotiation and helped us reaching the outcome we wanted! Very reactive as well and jumping on the ball real fast. Keen to work with her again.
