SPECIALTY COFFEE ROASTER FOR OVER HALF A CENTURY.

With a history just as rich as our coffee, Coffee Max have been delivering up some of the best coffee in town for over 50 years. Our family has been at the forefront of Melbourne’s love affair with coffee, and our passion has not waned for the little bean.

You see we’re obsessed with uncovering the perfect cup of coffee. From personally selecting the very best Arabica beans from around the globe, to hand roasting them in small batches every day, to choosing the perfect brewing equipment, and the most complimentary milk and accompaniments, we are fastidious about delivering an entire coffee experience that will not disappoint.

Coffee max is always on my list for brunch.Been going for the past few years now and the food has never let me down. The chef is always welcoming and polite and is always popping by to ask if we need anything or not. However, my recent visit was very different. One of the waitresses was making our time there very uncomfortable. She took our order and if v added anything after she would make a smirking face and take the order. Also, when we finished she stood near a table close to us or walked around passing our table and standing there for us to get up and leave. Bearing in mind the little ones were still eating their ice creams. So we didn't say anything as the chef is very good but I didn't get what was up with that waitress. It was no where near closing time so I didn't get the rush she was in to clean our tables. The food was good tho
Nice cosy place on the High Street close to other amenities. Friendly staff and service and very efficient. Tried the English breakfast, Pasta and Pizza which were all quite good. Definitely a try for the weekend outing.

This was my first time in Tooting Broadway. Spent the night in a lovely hotel by the hospital and decided to have breakfast in this local halal cafe called Coffee Max. It was clean and well presented. They had quite a few breakfast choices, all European or British styled. English Breakfast is either served with juice or tea, I asked them not to give me sausages, but I did manage to taste the sausages at the end, they were surprisingly good quality and cooked well. My experience of this cafe is that it is excellent.
Came here for a midday brunch, unfortunately found a hair in the English breakfast I ordered. Notified the staff of this who took the plate, failed to even acknowledge the hair and did not even apologise. We were charged in full for less than half eaten plate of food. One star is for the mocha coffee only. Do better. Appalling service and unhygienic.
Lovely full English breakfast based in upper tooting right by Nando’s - the beans are seasoned well and the portion size is correct! Will definitely return :
This was the worst breakfast place I’ve ever been too, the service was atrocious as the staff didn’t have no manners. Food overall was a 2/10 beans were aldi value & the sausage tasted like plastic
A lovely little cafe located in the High Street. The food portions where generous, the service was efficient and friendly, the food was of a good quality, and the place was clean. Menu options are also varied, so something for everything. I've already been back a second time, so would happily go again.
Love how this local Cafe make extremely tasty and fresh food!!! The proof is in the cooking.
Tasty Breakfast, all halal and super tasty fresh Orange juice, parking can be a bit difficult and staff are sometimes over friendly sometimes rude. Interior is hold in dark brown colours makes you stay longer in shop
