At Cocochine we welcome you to the world of Asian flavours. Visit us by Caroline Springs Shopping Centre for some tasty classics done in our distinct way!

Story

Cocochine is all about choice. We don’t just throw different dishes and various spices together and call it fusion food. Instead we focus on tried and true classics from around Asia and present these to you in our own style. We like our guests to have options, whether it’s a Japanese bento box, crispy Chinese Peking duck, Mongolian beef, Malaysian laksa, Thai tom yum, Vietnamese spring rolls or just a casual drink at our cool bar, we want you to choose! Our dishes respect traditional techniques, but we throw our own modern twist on things here and there to make our food unique in Melbourne. Food twice as expensive as reasonable. Graphic design terrible. The logo has white noise from editing still on it and it’s low res. Overcrowded table arrangement, hard to get through. No chopsticks. Mains don’t come with rice. That’s extra. My dish had cashews instead of peanuts like the menu listed. They make you pay a dollar for a take away container. Rip off and not worth it. No ambience. Cheap food for premium prices.
It’s gone down hill. I remember coming here for birthdays and having awesome food! Went there tonight... I ordered the prawn Tom yum soup which only had 2 prawns and was full of sliced ginger. My mum ordered the ‘sizzling beef’ to which she recieved ‘crispy beef’. This crispy beef was covered in batter and sauce that tasted like vegemite. We pulled one of the pieces of ‘meat’ open and discovered there was a little tiny thin strip of meat in at least 5mm of batter. Not good. AND when we complained and my mum didn’t eat the meat. We had to pay anyway. Terrible food. Terrible service. It’s a shame but we won’t be coming back!
Ok, some pepole should just stick to McDonald!!!! We have been here 5 times and every and each one of them Cocochine has never failed us. I took family and friends and they still remember the duck, which is by the way a favorite of mine, considering I'm not a big fan of it. The staff is friendly, helpful and "thank you Jesus" English speaking. Never had problems with take away for two reasons: 1 there's no left overs 2 if you ask they do give you containers, with date on it!!! I just asked. Pricy???? Consider this, you pay for what you get and the food is bloody brilliant!!! Melbourne is full of cheap resturants, fast food and so on and any way $29 for duck I'll say is evrige. Two people will pay between $50 to $100 drinks included, I don't know what you expect to get below this price range. I highly recommend this resturant to anybody, and if after 5 times i have never been disappointed than it is safe to say that you won't too.
Poor customer service. We ordered take away and got home to discover that the spring rolls were bad old, sour, something..... We called and they offered to replace them but we didn't want to go back out this late in the evening and asked if we could just have a store credit for next time. They said they will only do that if we bring them back the original item. We won't eat there again!
Absolutely horrible, we visited the restaurant on the 27th of December there was a group of 20 people and out of the 20, 18 of us got food poisoning!! We have been in contact with the owner and all we got was “report it to the health department”!!!! My daughter quizzed him on what temperature chicken should be and what temperature causes it to be in the danger zone and he couldn’t answer the question! His response was “what are you? A specialist in this field” common sense would say as a business owner in hospitality you should sure as hell know what temperature chicken has to be!! We have doctors reports as we got debilitatingly sick, as did someone else who visited on the same day - refer to the post on Caroline Springs Residence FB page!! We spent over $700 that night just to get food poisoning! Save yourself the headache and heartache and go to another restaurant instead!!!!!
Food is a bit pricey but the meat dishes are big enough and always tasty. Staff are always friendly and service is quick. Never had a bad experience here
Food ok, but service was so slow. Couldn't go back, too frustrating. Need to whip up some better service staff.
