Went there in December and was amazed by the customer service provided by the lady named Donna. Bought few chairs from her and she was very helpful with my purchase. Definitely recommend her if you need anything from this store. Great collection too
14 MONTHS NO COUCH AND STILL WAITING ON MY REFUND We purchased a $16,000 couch in November 2021 from Coco republic. The couch arrived in March 2022 only to be defective. We had a 'couch doctor' from Coco Republic attend our house who confirmed the couch was defective. After chasing Coco Republic constantly we were advised that a new couch would be sent to us asap. In October 2022 after a year of waiting for a defect free couch the delivery driver arrived with 1 of the 4 pieces of couch only which is completely useless to us. From pure frustration we rang Coco Republic and advised we did not want the couch and we wanted a refund. They picked up the couch within 48 hours very efficient.... It is now January 2023 and I am still ringing them for my money back even though they picked the couch up two months ago. So it's been 14 months and I have no couch and still waiting on my refund. The real kicker is that we now need to wait until April 2023 for a couch from another retailer to be delivered. So we had to purchase an interim couch to sit on for the time being which we will not be compensated for. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! I ring daily I know the number off by heart. They clearly do not take notes on the case as I have to start from the beginning every time and go through the same process. I reckon I have called 25-30 times for my refund and never get a call back from them. I have waited anywhere from 20 mins to 1 hour each call which I also will not be compensated for. Good luck to anyone who purchases from Coco Republic you have been warned.
The WORST experience purchasing something EVER. DO NOT BUY FROM COCO REPUBLIC. We ordered our table 6 months ago, due for delivery in November. When it arrived and they were putting it together it completely split through the middle and smashed. We were then assured for a replacement due early December. Ended up with courier confirmation 2-5 on Dec 21 and it just never arrived. It took me 13 calls to their ‘customer service’ for an answer they actually don’t have a proper head office so they outsource this and it’s horrific. So 13 calls and several emails later we get a call to say the second table didn’t meet the quality inspection and apparently the courier confirmation was an error which it wasn’t as I had this confirmed at least 3 times by 3 different people and now we have to wait for a third shipment in Jan. Seems so many people in the same boat as us lots of google reviews saying the same thing. They’ve been going through and deleting social media comments too so people won’t see and have turned off comments on their Instagram posts. Horrendous experience and completely fraudulent. Steer clear.
Coco Republic has delivered in so many areas. The customer service provided by Cheryl at the Richmond store was incredible. She was able to negotiate on our behalf with management and her attention to detail and our personal requirements was exceptional. She also kept us in the loop and, in short, we felt valued as customers...a rare quality for sure. As for our purchase we've undertaken, the leather sofa was and is stylish, classic in design yet beautiful, but if it hadn't been for the flexibility and openness of store policy, we'd still be searching. Cheryl is an asset for this store, no doubt.
Made no attempt to tell me my fully paid-for item had not been ordered and is now discontinued. Kept pushing delivery times out but has taken 6 months of me contacting them, to find out I will never get what I ordered. Hope the refund comes through quicker than any of their comms. Cheryl is a condescending sales person who makes you feel like an inconvenience.
BEWARE - DO NOT PURCHASE FROM COCO REPUBLIC!!!! Purchased a table for my new house and realised when I moved in that the table won’t fit. Paid my deposit and the table hasn’t been shipped yet and Coco republic won’t offer me a full refund or even a credit note. They just want to lock you in and take your money. I’m a young first home buyer in my 20’s and they have no empathy. Never shopping from here again and strongly recommend others to avoid at all costs. All other furniture stores provide refunds with no questions asked. Don’t know why Coco republic won’t do the same.
Have never had anything but amazing service from the team at the Cremone / Richmond store. Attentive and helpful from stock numbers to alternate choices of fabric. And the best delivery guys in history. Went over everything with a fine tooth comb! Great service and detail!
I’d give zero stars if possible, the experience I’ve had with Coco Republic is absolutely shocking - Their customer service is a big fat zero, do not bother buying from them it’s totally not worth it, I will never shop here again after having extreme difficulties with delivery and then getting a repair with a coffee table. My experience has been so bad it’s actually made me not love the item I purchased as much because it has bad vibes attached to it now, and I feel regretful having spent money on such a disappointing company.
I was promised by the salesperson from the Richmond showroom that the items I had purchased would arrive in 8 weeks. On the day they were meant to arrive, I called the showroom to find out the ETA on the items. They told me it would arrive the following week and that I should pay the balance of what I owed to make sure there is no delay in the delivery. Well... 12 weeks later I still don't have anything to show and the delivery date keeps getting pushed back. According to the sales staff my items are at their Sydney warehouse but it is still going to take 3 more weeks for it to arrive. Customer service is non existent. Can't get anyone to call me back. Will not be purchasing anything from this place again!
