Had a positive experience getting my glucose tolerance test done during pregnancy recently. There was a bit of a wait at the start - arrived 8am on a Friday and seen at 8:30am, it didn't seem like anyone was checking who had been fasting/had priority tests. Once I went in, the lady who did my first blood draw was really lovely. She set me up on a comfortable reclining chair behind a curtain, so I got to relax and have some peace and quiet in the hours between blood draws. I was really worried about being on an uncomfortable chair for hours with back pain etc.. so it was really appreciated :
I arrived at this collection centre just before 7am this morning. There were already several people in front of me. As my test was urgent I needed to wait no matter how long it took. The young lady opened the doors just on 7am and was checking everyone’s referrals as they walked into the waiting room to grab a number. When she saw my referral she asked me to wait just a minute while she checked the people’s referrals who had arrived after me and then she took me in first to have my bloods done. It was a D Dimer test which sadly was positive and now I write this review from Charlie Gardiner Emergency Dept where I’ve been waiting hours already to be seeing by a doctor. Thank you so much to Clinipath and the young lady who took my blood this morning, your absolute efficiency and compassion is so very much appreciated.
Every time I've attended this clinic for routine blood tests morning before work they've been extremely slow and wait times have been excessive despite there not being that many people. This morning I waited 45 minutes and there were only 2 people before me. I don't know if they are under-staffed or just slow. I have noticed staff standing around talking about non-work things despite there being people waiting. Other clinics I've been to are much more efficient. Don't attend here if you are in a hurry. The lady who tookmybloodqas lovely and friendly though.
Had to take my mum to this particular collection centre as it was a specific test that can only be done there. The two staff members that looked after us were very nice and very professional; thank you. It was my 3rd CliniPath experience for the day! First one in Hampden Rd was a flop, second one - Nedlands Stirling - was great despite the one staff member being a bit overwhelmed with clients; third one at Osborne Park was also very good.
I attended the clinic on 23/04/25 and was not excited due to the bad reviews online, however the service was great. A little bit of a wait 30 mins, however the ladies got through the queue quickly, and the lady who took my blood, was really friendly and gentle.
