Thank you to the Trit House Brisbane team for always helping me with my inquiries and assisting with furnishing my new place! The team offered great assistance on the phone checking product measurements to make sure the pieces would fit in my room. I really feel like there was individualised customer service and a warm welcome. The delivery fee was on the pricey side, but it was worth opting for extra assembly service. Receiving the items in my house was well worth the wait, very happy customer!
Thanks to Jess & Team at the FV store! We not only purchased all new furniture for our own home from Trit House, we also added new furniture to our short stay property. Everything in store is so beautiful, and the team are very accommodating, especially as we changed our minds on certain items after arrival. Thanks so much for all your help, and for having the most stunning furniture in stock!
Purchased a lounge from Trit House in the Valley in Brisbane, originally I was quoted a price which included unpack and install, when I went back to the store to finalize the purchase I asked if that was the best deal they could do, they gave a bit more of a discount and I did the deal. The day prior to delivery I contacted Phil the delivery guy to confirm that he would unpack and install which he confirmed. As it turned out the discount they gave me was not a discount at all but a cheaper "deliver only" price i.e. $1100.00 Naturally enough I thought this amount would surely be the delivery and install price. On the day the delivery guys got lost and were one and a half hours late, my Wife was not impressed. She quizzed the guys about unpacking and they said we had only a drop off only delivery. I called the store to see where the confusion was to be told that's what I had paid for, check your invoice. I asked how much extra to unpack and take the rubbish away and was told $550.00 so in total the delivery and unpack would have been $1650.00 REALLY ! I suggested that there had been some confusion and maybe we go halves in the unpack and removal of rubbish but the store Manager had no interest in rectifying the situation. We unpacked the lounge in 30 minutes ! The lounge is marked from where the packaging was faulty. Just be very wary of this happening to you, cross your T's and dot your I's. I've attached photos of the way the lounge looked when it was delivered, look below. PS. the lounge looks great !
Only two stars and they are for the the lovely women in the Brisbane store. The ethnicraft dining table we purchased was sub par in quality. First table arrived with a broken edge - second table arrived with a split filled with wood filler and sanded in what seemed like an attempt to hide a split. The third table arrived months later with "Medullary rays" ie white saw marks over it. If it is so normal and beautiful to have these on your table, then why not proudly display a table with these markings in your showrooms? None of the tables in your showroom or even on the website showed these markings, if they had I certainly would not have made the purchase. After this table was unpacked your 3rd party delivery person told me he was too busy to wait while I called the store and I had five minutes to make up my mind, I was left with no choice to send it back as he would not stop repeating 5 minutes... 5 minutes very rude and upsetting. You may think I was a difficult customer... if difficult means I want what I thought I was paying for ... then sure call me difficult. On another note I have 6 chairs I purchased at the same time and I adore them so thanks at least for that. My advice to prospective customers is really ask a lot of questions regarding the Ethnicraft oak products before purchasing, and inspect thoroughly before accepting the item. Also ask to read the care instructions before buying as there is little to no protection on the surface , it is almost like raw wood! I hope you have a better experience than we did. A real shame overall as I like the design of their items but in the end not only did they say it was up to us to pay for the return of the table, but they were also going to charge us a whopping 20% for a box to put it in... that they took with them after the first table was delivered. Trit House you have a great looking store with some lovely items but this table isn't one of them, shame on you for refusing a refund for what you deem to be a "change of mind'' when the photos prove a very different story. Buyer Beware!

I would not recommend Trit House as their service is terrible and they don’t care about their customers. We ordered 8 poise timber and leather chairs after very carefully researching and choosing these chairs. The sales assistant we dealt with assured us that our leather would match and be from the same batch. She did explain that leather was a natural product and they may be some small variations which we understood as we have had leather furniture in the past. When our chairs arrived 4 matched the sample chair we were shown in the Brisbane store and 4 had either terrible marks on them or were a completely different leather texture. Even the delivery driver on unpacking said that the 4 chairs were unacceptable and needed to be replaced. We immediately photographed the chairs and let them know of our problem and asked for 4 chairs to be changed to match the other ones that matched the sample chair. What came next was disgraceful customer service. Nothing was done to help solve the problem the only alternative we were given was to return the chairs to the Brisbane store at our cost and receive a refund less the $600 delivery cost. They stated it was ‘change of mind’ return. Well we certainly had not changed our minds we loved the chairs and just wanted 8 matching chairs. We have tried emailing the company to reach some resolution but no one replies. When the problem was made known to the team in the Brisbane showroom phone calls or emails were not returned until prompted by us. I had let them know we were going through a particularly stressful time in our lives when ordering the chairs and was assured there was nothing to worry about. I have now reordered the same chairs from another supplier who was so upset on our behalf because of the terrible service we experienced and he has let the chair designer and manufacturer also know of our treatment. The chairs we have now ordered THE SAME POISE CHAIR were photographed before distribution for our approval and are definitely from the same batch. When I asked Trit why the chairs hadn’t been checked before delivery they told me that they don’t have time to do this. We taking this matter further as we don’t believe we should be paying the $600 delivery and no one from Trit head office has had the courtesy to reply to our emails or phone calls. Think very carefully before ordering anything from this company. It has been an awful experience for us.

Absolutely Love the dining table and chairs we bought from Trit. The delivery took longer than we would have liked, 4 weeks for the chairs and 6 for table, but the items are top quality so was worth the wait. All their staff were excellent to deal with. Very responsive to any enquiries and very helpful instore.
I ordered eight outdoor lounge chairs from Trit House just before Christmas, and they are perfect for our coastal deck. The chairs are very stylish, comfortable and relaxing. The customer service provided by Trit House has been excellent.
Great service from staff at the valley, from Jackson who took my initial enquiry, to the rest of the team. Received our Ethnicraft N701 sofa and it looks amazing! Very happy with our purchase and will definitely shop at Trit House again.
