Large hardware store, located just out of the CBD. Has a huge range of products, for general building and maintenance work. Timber, hand tools, power tools, garden tools, supplies, and even a small garden centre with surprisingly healthy looking plants. The store is clean, well organised, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
A West Hobart Backyard Garden Project of Seven Raised Garden BedsnnSeven Raised Concerte Garden Beds had been neglected so much so the initial black plastic linings were now surfacing erroded. Drafting design architectures, seed selections and allowing myself to play in imaginations of what a Krystal Garden of Eternal Life could entail it was now time to take action.nnTask 1: Setting FoundationsnI ordered soils, a spade, a pitchfork and a hand trowel online for delivery. Understaffed Suzanne was able to organise a home delivery by Daryl who helped unload the cargo and shared some experience on best practices.nnTask 2: More SoilnAfter priming was laid a delivery of 6t topsoil lay in the driveway so a wheelbarrow was needed. Suzanne again showed me various product options to specific project parameters.nnI bought a 100L Blue Tradesman Steel Kelso Wheelbarrow for $263. That's big monies. I don't care who you are. I began carting soil load runs from the driveway to the backyard. After 9 of these I realised one of the washers was not fastened properly and was causing unnecessary nuisances.nnTask 3: Accounting for the UnforseennI went back the next day to buy a wrench to fix the problem and a hose that would connect to a rusty tap for the Seven Garden Beds. Emily, Wendy and Darly all educated me as I didn't know what would be best and Neysan also.nnI was not successful in fixing the wheelbarrow myself so I brought it back the following day where Daryl and Max both got on their hands and knees as we all tried find a solution together. Ultimately unsuccessful in the task I had brought the exchange transaction receipt with and walked out with a another same brand new model wheelbarrow.nnPurchasing additionally gloves, water crystals and dynamic lifter.nnIt is very easy to be misled, manipulated, deceived or scammed online in today's digital economy.nnThank you Suzanne, Darly, Wendy, Neysan, Emily and Max for the human in person kind nature, honest transparency and experience expertise.nnYou are why I consistently decide to support local businesses when it may not necessarily be the cheapest option. Trust, sincerity and quality service is why I happily pay more.nnSimply, it is the people and relationships who are the most valuable in life. Goods and products needn't get in the way of this truth.
Great friendly service good atmosphere and staff are very helpful with anything you need to find, don't just point in a direction. The lady in the garden section was very knowledgeable and helpful also
