We used Debbie Clinch's services for property/financial and parental mediation to develop the agreements we needed to be able to move along with our lives after my wife and I separated earlier this year.  Debbie was professional, organised, experienced, knowledgeable and very helpful. She also went the extra mile multiple times to help us keep moving forward, and to get us all the way to our agreements. This was especially important as the negotiations took longer than expected, through no fault of her own.  More importantly for me she was very open, honest and empathetic, and quickly earned my trust... which was a critical factor for me at a time that involved a lot of uncertainty and confusion. Another important contribution she made was to remind me at times that it was important to consider the longer view of things and to remember my kids, particularly as the negotiations became quite contentious at times. Without those timely reminders the negotiations could easily have devolved into us approaching it as a zero-sum fight, and likely would have meant we ended up with nothing agreed at the end.  I'm glad we engaged Debbie early on in our separation as it helped us get to our agreements more quickly, and let us start making the required moves to get on with our lives.  A huge thanks to Debbie, Madeleine and Christine for all their hard work in organising and conducting the mediations, and I can't recommend Debbie enough. She's a terrific mediator and more importantly a genuinely good person.

Debbie Clinch I found to be very professional, patient and thorough. Her experience, healthy working relationships with other lawyers in the Family Court setting and experience in solving matters out of court by negotiation was invaluable. It is my perception that Debbie is known by Magistrates to be sensible, reasonable and practical. Debbie is good at telling you what you need to know and do in matters of heightened stress and giving sensible and practical advise. Debbie also made herself available outside of normal business hours. I would recommend people needing Family Law advise seek the help of Debbie Clinch without hesitation.

Beverley handled our settlement, was quick, efficient, extremely competent and communicated really well, from our first initial enquiry, right through to a completed settlement. As first time buyers it was great to have someone to guide us through the process and everyone at Clairs Keeley that we dealt with were friendly and professional too.

Beverley Sorrell at Clairs Keeley was an absolute godsend. I would highly recommend her to anyone requiring assistance with property settlements and disputes and drafting wills. I have been very fortunate to have had the guidance and support of Debbie Clinch from this law firm after my separation. I recommend Debbie highly. I was tasked with settling my mother’s 20 year old estate, which was by no means either a straight forward or simple affair. Ian Clairs was recommended by a colleague and proved to be more than worth the recommendation. With changes in law, disputes between beneficiaries, Ian gave the effort, patience, knowledge, understanding and guidance to what was at times, a very frustrating saga and resulted in a more than satisfactory conclusion.

A great law firm. Lara, Ian and Penny are well respected in their field. Jodie on reception is fantastic at her role and always a pleasure to speak with. They would be a 5 star rating had their accounts department had the same level of customer service as the rest. Would use their services again.

My partner’s property settlement was not straightforward. It took 7-8 years to finalise. Lara Anstie, from Clairs Keeley, ably handled the case throughout this period. She was always confident and  well prepared when dealing with Magistrates  and Judges in Court. There was a mass of documentation and subpoenas. Lara was organized and thorough in dealing with this avalanche of legal paperwork. Her initial choice of barrister was unsuited to our needs. To Lara’s credit she recognized this and arranged for a new barrister. This new barrister proved to be a game changer. He and Lara were a formidable team and secured a good outcome for my partner.

Ian was able to offer guidance and legal advice with very little notice. I wouldn't hesitate to use Ian and the team at Clairs Keeley again. Excellent support when I needed it the most!
