Disappointing Experience at CityFitness.nnDecent gym with great equipment and space, but my experience was consistently marred by poor staff behavior and lack of member etiquette!!!nnOn my last visit today , Josh Taylor spoke to me bluntly and rudely when I wasn't wearing shoes, disregarding my explanation of the specific exercise requiring no shoes! His unprofessionalism left me angry.nnAdditionally, I've encountered recurring issues:nn- Staff condescension: Reprimanded for forgetting to re-rack weights, with a tone that was unwarranted and unprofessional.n- Member disregard: Another member used equipment I was clearly using with my bag on it and responded rudely when I politely asked her to wait.n- Uncomfortable atmosphere: Persistent staring from an individual and unwanted attention winking from another.nnCityFitness, please address these concerns:nn1. Staff training on respectful communicationn2. Emphasize gym etiquette among membersn3. Ensure a safe and welcoming environmentnnUntil then, I'll reconsider my membership.
Pretty big gym. All the equipment was up to scratch. Went in with a huge group of lads maybe 40 - 50 and there was enough machines and weights for everyone to do their thing. It was clean. They had a vending machine for water, protein bars, protein drinks, etc. The toilets and changing rooms were clean and sanitized. One of the top gyms I've been to. Easy 5 star review.
Would give 5 stars but definitely needs a little bit of a revamp not much but just a little still an awesome gym to head to if your in masterton
One of the best City Fitness I visited ever. Spacious, full with new machines, a lot of weights and space for exercise. I was in the early evening, but wasn't crowded. The changing room and shower area is super tidy. Could be a good example for other clubs, Thank you guys, great job!
All the essential equipment is included at this gym. There is also a fun class for anyone that loves to dance. I would recommend checking out Zumba. It can be quite busy at times, so it would be better to attend during the off peak hours.nnThe staff are friendly and approachable. It is a fantastic no thrills gym that gets the job done.
