This gym is amazing it has helped me in different areas of my body in muscle development due to the wide range of different machines. Awesome place, staff so lovely too which is great for a nervous beginner. So many different machines to use at your own pace. Definitely worth a look at!
Best gym I've signed up for. Not trying to bash businesses but from expierence being with Jetts, City Fitness & Configure express before it closed Jenkins is definitely my favourite. I consider it homely and doesn't have a snobby atmosphere compared to the other gyms. You can be yourself and not feel awkward when using equipment. Very friendly vibe especially with the regulars I see there. Smiles and just doing their thing. Love the women's changing rooms and the showers are soooo heavenly, my favourite thing to look forward to after a workout with the amazing pressure they have. Thanks team.
Awful. I joined up on a short 6 months contract as I was pregnant. Due to complications I had to move house to be closer to family and therefore couldn't go. So I went about 3 times... they refused to cancel withput an extortionate fee and still charging me. Co tract due to end this month and they also charged me the annual maintenance fee this month knowing my situation and the fact I've not been going, and have not responded to any complaint via email or text. I am due to give birth next week and they choose to take more money off me for a maintenance fee for the gym they know I have not been attending. Disgusting service. And being ignored by the owner is also disgraceful.
Fair price considering the equipment available, however no hack squat, deadlift platforms or fixed landmine end. Friendly staff and atmosphere there. The bad stuff: Machines cap screws are all mostly loose and not very well looked after, 2 of the barbells are bent and poor range of kettlebells in the main area that aren't even labeled. Overall good gym
I don’t know why ppl complain about the cancellation fees etc. Read the papers. Everything is mentioned in there. 10.50/week Some machines would deserve a bit more love. Otherwise nice gym with plenty of weights
Poorly maintained. Wifi is not stable. Equipment worn off. In need of a repair and upgrade
Buyer beware. History of referring clients to debt collectors after they missed an email.
One of the best gyms I've gone to. Great layout, good number of squat racks and benches plenty of dumbbells. They also have good fitness classes with great instructors
The best gym in Lower Hutt! Outstanding Customer service, fantastic group fitness classes, updated and well serviced equipment, this gym certainly provides everything that's required with exceptional quality at a good price
