We wanted to try this place after reading some good reviews online. Sadly we were very disappointed. The outdoor children's area was great and my 2 grandkids 6 &9 had fun, but that's where it stops. Inside just about every pool had swimming lessons going or else wasn't available unless you were actively doing laps or walking for fitness. There was a very small roped off area to swim in which was crowded with people. For a large complex, we found this rather annoying. The kids managed to have fun, but for us adults we didn't get any swimming in. We also went to the Cafe which was absolutely filthy with rubbish and dirty tables everywhere and overpriced food. It took the poor girl behind the counter almost an hour to make our coffee as she had loads of customers and there was only her serving. Honestly, save your money and stick with the Riverton pools instead. They're so much better.
Lots of programs and activities for all ages . We like the exercise routines here, have a good time and adjourn to some cafe breaks. Staff is helpful and nice, is a great spot and a very convenient location with lots f parking. Highly recommend.
I love this place but i should tell the true. Monday-Wednesday was lovely pool temperature for 25m pool. Thursday a bit cool but I can accept that. Today It was cooler than Thursday. I was talking with her duty manager jacket. She said this water already 28 degree. I am so upset because she just said without checking first and I am swimming everyday in Cannington leisureplex. My complain is the manner. Why did she said without check the pool?. This is public service area and she should accept that complain and check that. I was waiting 20 minutes in walking line, but she didn’t check temperature in 25m pool. It should prepare well for pool before the guest is coming.nnShe should know where she is working for. And Leisureplex have to make checking list before and after operation hours.
The staffs were lovely and helpful. Though the water was cold in the spa n in th pool.nHowever, being an older individual I have seen an abusive verbally regarding the water temperature from a senior to a young lifeguard. No young worker deserved that kind of treatment. I suggest a notice regarding no abuse to workers please to remind public to respect the young workers at the pool.
After the so called grand reopening the sauna has been painted with oil based paintno one should never be breathing that in which still stinks months later, showers and steam sauna still always out of order. Barely any water flow from showers. Pool is always cold lately and yet everyone gets charged the full price. Awesome renovations where there has been absolutely no improvements. Good on the leisureplex for the money grab!
