City Motor Auction Group began in 1991 and has now been recognised as one of the leaders in the automotive industry across Queensland. Privately owned and operated by its Directors since its inception, City Motor Auction Group prides itself on its personalised service and no fuss attitude.

Our Site
We are conveniently located 10 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and the Brisbane Airport, enabling us to service both local and interstate clients efficiently and cost effectively. Currently situated on over 9000m2, comprising of over 4500m2 of undercover auction and storage facilities. We also have extensive customer and vehicle collection parking. The auction room caters for a drive through auction process, which enables the purchaser to actually see and hear how the vehicles sound and run, this coupled with our in-house cafe, makes for a pleasant and comfortable environment in which to purchase or sell a motor vehicle.

Excellent experience with City Motor Auction Group. Tim was so good to deal with, honest and fast communication, and the process was really easy. I was given a much fairer price than what a lot of other dealers were offering. I wasn't sure if I'd get much money for my 10 y.o car that wasn't in the best condition, but I'm so glad that I went with them, would highly recommend.

These guys saved me some hassle I tell ya what. I hope they see this review and laugh about it. When the wheel fell of our Audi coming down Kingsford smith drive they took time out of their evening to help me jack it up and get the wheel on just so I can push it to the side to sort it out to get her home. Easiest carsale ever, quick and friendly service from all team members. A generous instant offer was made on my vehicle and the sale was honoured and completed 24hrs later. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick sale of good condition cars.

I had a great experience at City Motor Auction Group. I was really happy with Matt Stubberfield's customer service and extensive knowledge of all cars.  He made the whole process of choosing and purchasing my car easy. I will definitely be sending my family and friends to Matt for their next car and I will be back when it's time to upgrade mine.

Not very professional, not prepared to verified a car and give a professional diagnostic. They only check the car's papers. Because of that, they sell shady cars and refuse to sell the really good ones. In my opinion, they are a bunch of lazy-shady people.

Amazing team here! Sold my car to them for a good price considering the work it needed done to it! When i enquired about buying a new car the team here went way over and above to help me find the perfect new car!! They were patient and understanding with my needs and requests, organised finance who organised insurance everything! I literally didn’t have to do anything they even brought the car to me when I couldn’t make it to Brisbane. Wonderful experience. In 10 years time i’ll for sure be buying my next car here xD

Good staff & surprised to find a cafe inside. Auction days only, I think- honestly didn't ask.

Need to get rid of your car quick. Not too worried about getting the best price. Then go here. If you think it might need some work. Consider how much it's going to cost first. If you just want to get rid of it then fine. These guys are a business. They need to buy your car make sure it's roadworthy and then sell it. All while making a profit. They will undercut and you need to negotiate. You want what your car is worth. Sell it privately
