Christ Church St Ives is an Anglican church which has been part of the St Ives community for over 100 years. As the suburb has grown and changed, so too has Christ Church.
Christ Church now consists of diverse Sunday services and associated ministries, all united in the belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour. We are a big church, but it is important to us that we enable everyone who comes to become a vital and valued part of the church family.
Join us on a Sunday at Cowan Rd at 9.00 Church and 10.30 Church in the morning or 6.45 Church in the evening or at 9.30 Family Church which meets St Ives North Primary School. We have children's and youth programs for Toddlers to Year 12 across the day.
We welcome people from many different backgrounds and we do all sorts of different things during the week. But the thing we have in common, and the reason we keep meeting together, is our love for God and his Son, Jesus Christ. We meet to hear from God through the Bible, because that’s how we can better understand God. We meet to respond to him in prayer and praise, and also to encourage one another to live for him in every way.
Whoever you are and wherever you are from, you are welcome and will find a place to belong at Christ Church.
Under God, and for his glory, we want to grow as a family of churches as we build whole-hearted disciples of Christ in our community, in our city and in all the world. We seek to build whole-hearted disciples of Christ who glorify God & love others as they connect people to Christ, grow to maturity in Christ & serve to build disciples for Christ.
