Big spacious chapel with tv screens strategically located for easy viewing. Plenty of parking and with easy access for people with disability.
Although modern and fits in the large number of family and friends for that day no one wants to attend ~ the Rear TV screens are tooooo small for viewing probably an outstanding memorable slideshow of the life and family it contains. The PA system is defining and needs a control system at the rear.
This is just a generic room where people gather to farewell a loved one. The colour and ambience arr provided by the people who go there - music, film, flowers, speakers etc. It's modern & clean. The restroom is modern & clean. The function room where the 'wake' is held is modern and clean. The staff working the catering are bossy - well they were when we were there. We didn't need the attitude !
Very peaceful, great place for a funeral event. Staff helpful and sensitive to people's emotions.

Beautiful Chapel for a small to medium sized funeral. The atmosphere was open and light. Gorgeous outdoor area with plants and greenery to mingle with guests and loved ones. Non-denominational. Highly recommended.
I have now been to 4 funerals at Macquarie including 2 in the Camellia Chapel. It's such a help to have parking employees direct you to the nearest parking spot. Also a small vehicle to drive the elderly, or people with mobility issues, to the funeral chapel . It's very caring of them to look after the people attending funerals & make things less stressful. It seems very professionally run & their management obviously excel at looking after people during such a difficult time.
Service was pretty good, said good bye to my sister inlaw,reception was nice not far from the service was nice.
Lovely environment but pushed out a side door and felt like a process at the end of the service.
We were attending a very large funeral for a much loved family member and it couldn't have been better organised. At such a sad time what we needed was no muss and no fuss and that was what we got.
