Story

With dishes designed to share, the menu at Chop Chop Chang’s will allow you
to experience a variety of flavours without suffering from food envy.

Our 'street food' style menu has distinct Thai and Vietnamese influences and
we are committed to fresh produce and local ingredients.

Chop Chop Chang’s is a walk in restaurant - no need to make a booking
for parties of under 10 people. Groups of 10 or more are welcome to make
a reservation and may choose to utilize the private courtyard for their event
or celebration.

Who is Chop Chop Chang?

Chop Chop Chang is an ubercool Astrochimp who reached celebrity status in 1961
when he became the first chimp to successfully travel into space. Also known as Ham, Chop Chop Chang lived out his days in the North Carolina Zoo munching on lemongrass, coriander root and of course plantains.

Absolutely delicious, we chose a banquet for our group. Each serving was a perfect size as you wanted more but could enjoy each course that came. By the end I was full and satisfied. Each dish was bursting with flavour and the cocktails were equally as tasty. I’ll definitely be back to try more in this menu.
Great small Asian dishes creatively prepared and presented bursting with unique flavour. Their seafood was fresh and their salads were something else. The watermelon salad was a unique experience that would suit people who like sweet and sour foods. It's also definitely worth it to save room for dessert. Their golden gaytime bao bun is a masterpiece. The staff was also very friendly and an absolute pleasure to talk to Dietary restrictions: Not Halal
Great mixed Asian food, varieties of plates, delicately balanced with a strong focus on both appearance and taste, I really enjoyed the presentation. Staff is really lovely and easily to engage in positive conversation with guests. Our food were delivered to our table in a timely manner and we didn’t have to wait so long. Great experience for sure I’ll be back
Amazing customer service, organisation. They were very receptive and welcome when I arrived there with a birthday cake to the Group. They helped with everything, I didn't need to do almost anything there. They showed proactive in helping with serving and putting candles in the cake. They accept reservations for birthday and they ask to everybody choose the same basket if they want to participate of it. I'm VEGETARIAN, and I had an extreme great version of the dishes in vegetarian way. Someone at the table was intolerant to gluten and it was also not an issue. Everybody had their particularities respected and could appreciate a very good dinner.
Amazing! From start to finish. The staff are really welcoming and attentive. The place is open, quirky, and comfortable. The dishes all packed a punch. No boring bits. The market fish was our menu topper for the evening. The drinks list is longer than the menu! Great cocktails. Top effort. Thanks guys.
First time here but recommended by friends. It's a funky street eats style restaurant which ticks the boxes. Service was consistent and professional. The food was excellent. Ordered pork and chive dumplings, fish spring rolls, duck pancakes and a sensational fried rice. Had mocktails and beer. All was excellent. Although the atmosphere was good I thought it was a bit dark as had to use my phone torch to read menu. I know atmosphere is vital to a good space having owned a couple of cafes myself but not being able to read menu is just a touch too far! Nonetheless we all thought this place was fantastic and look forward to going again. Recommend.
Lovely casual asian fusion restaurant in the heart of west end. Left feeling very full and satisfied with the diverse selction of dishes. Many vege options as well. I like the kale and cauliflower hot and sour bites particularly. the yellow curry was spicer and more rich than what I was expecting. Very large potion sizes for the mains we both struggled to finish! Friendly staff who are very attentive and welcoming. fast service. No. complaints here happy I came! Also you are given a portable tablet to order drinks and snacks so that is alway a bonus!
Had a lovely dinner in this restaurant. Service was efficient and the fried rice was so good! It reminded me of home. I could not stop eating it. Loved the food but I did not really enjoy the chiang mai curry that much. It’s not bad but it’s not good either. Just in between. Definitely coming back again to try the other dishes!
Really good food! Was super busy but they sorted out a table for us quickly and were super friendly. The food had such great flavours and was so quick to come out. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for an Asian meal in West End!
