Terrible. Dropped off a script tonight. Waited 30mins as many other customers were waiting on their scripts and I thought mine was taking a while because it was busy. 30 mins later, I asked how much longer and they had lost my script, no record of it anywhere! They had to scan the script again and start over. Took them a few minutes to get it ready at that point. The two people who ended up serving me were so apologetic and seemed very stressed. Before me several people were complaining about scripts not being filled correctly, standing around waiting a long time too. So much incompetence. I don’t know if this is normal or not but it really was like nothing I’ve seen before, pure incompetence and poor management, with no accountability. Better to go to elsewhere.
Rating on behalf of a friend. Months ago went in to buy his ventolin. Was asked to provide his “drivers license”, which he does not have. When he said “I don’t have a drivers license” he was berated and humiliated.n“What do you mean you don’t have a drivers licence?” Not once did she realise she should’ve been asking for ID- not specifically a Drivers License- she was just rude and degrading, arrogant and dogmatic about it.nFast forward to yesterday when same friend required some documents to be signed. Same staff- was told to “go to the front and wait there” he obliged. she then stood watching him wait for at least 5 minutes. Ignoring the service required. Not sure if she doesn’t like white males, or is just this rude and obliging to everyone she comes across. It was enough to make him walk out and say- that’s it, never again
One more than 1 occasion, have needed to fill certain scripts. Ask for 4, received everything in the scripts bundle.nnCan they not understand their own system, the marked scripts are the only ones I wanted.nnThe new bulk dispensing for some meds does not mean I need or want all of them at once. It is not cheaper doing it this way and makes budgeting harder.nnAs for the scripts I don't need or want right then. Have asked that the unwanted scripts be cleared from the system only to be told, later when I did need it, the script had been filled even though I asked for it to be removed and it showing as having been filled even though i did not take it at the time.
Had a very bad experience at the westfield knox to get Cholrsig eye drops which is classified as pharmacist only on their website. I had developed conjunctivitis and was advised to take this eye-drop, when i asked for it i told them about my symptoms and was refused this blatantly and was advised to either see a eye specialist or a doctor as they didn’t believe i had conjunctivitis and instead it may be due to viral. I requested them that they eye was red and groggy, irritation and itching swollen eye lids but the so called intern pharmacist didnt budge and started giving explanation. This is very frustrating as now i have to live with this condition for a few days without the eye-drops. They shouldn’t have it as pharmacist only instead have a prescription so someone doesnt waste their time with them. Very unprofessional and no empathy. Unfortunately you cannot give a negative star, that is wat i would have given.
I had an extremely distressing and humiliating experience at Chemist Warehouse Knox City on Burwood Highway this evening around 5:40 pm.nnI attended the pharmacy with a valid prescription. A male staff member advised the medication was not in stock but confirmed with the male pharmacist that it could be ordered in for the following day. Shortly after, a female pharmacist intervened and refused to order it.nnShe spoke loudly enough for other customers to hear and repeatedly stated that the medication was “abortion medication,” discussing it publicly despite my visible distress.nnI was left in tears and felt completely humiliated. To make matters worse, when I asked for my paper prescription back, it was initially refused before eventually being returned.nnI would normally never post something this private in a public review, but given what happened today, I feel it’s important to warn other vulnerable women. Regardless of personal beliefs, no customer should have their private medical information discussed publicly or be treated without compassion and respect. This experience breached basic standards of privacy and dignity and had a significant emotional impact on me.
