Beware chemist warehouse is a scam when you happen to receive broken/ damaged device and medication, they will leave you in a lurch for more than 6 months without resolution.nnI bought a gift card from this store and used it to purchase a pump for more than $500. It was broken when I received it and replaced with another broken pump and it was faulty. I asked for refund and 6 months later I still haven’t got the refund from them. I followed up multiple times they just said they need to investigate it every time I call.nnAnother ridiculous thing happened today and their Manager should be fired and not fit to manage basic customer return. We bought a vitamin and when we open at home the seal is broken. We return within 2 days. They said we broke it and return too late? The policy is 7 days and common sense is not to take medication if seal is broken.nnThe whole chemist warehouse chain is a fraud.nThey just avoid responsibility and if you have a faulty medication or problem it’s your problem once they got your money.
Rudest staff ever!nnI visited Balwyn Chemist Warehouse with my 2-year old toddler today. My toddler became restless, so I put him on a stool. Then a Chinese speaking staff approached and suggested the stool was for staff only.nnI tried to explain my situation, but she dismissively replied: “Just go home!” in Chinese. I was shocked by her words that are rude and unacceptable.nnThe staff had showed no empathy and had used rude languages. I also felt being discriminated.nnI made a complaint to their manager, but I didn’t receive apology from that particular staff. I was very disappointed by my experience with Chemist Warehouse Balwyn.
I would rate 0 if there’s an option. On their website they clearly stated price match for all Australian retail price and beat 10% off on the difference, but the manager who give the instructions denied the price match because on other cheaper website shows “out of stock”which is totally **! I would never come back to that store especially I was left unattended! Worst service ever!
On Thursday afternoon, 10 October, an extremely false report was made by a staff member at this pharmacy. The report was completely wrong, full of lies, and has caused serious damage to me. I’m not just a delivery person but also a customer at one of this pharmacy’s other branches. When I arrived, I spoke to security at the door and a staff member, both of whom gave me permission to leave the 36 boxes exactly where they wanted. I followed their instructions perfectly.nnThere are cameras at the pharmacy that can easily show I didn’t leave the boxes carelessly—I placed them exactly as instructed. However, after completing my delivery, I found out that one of the staff members made a false report, claiming I was unhelpful and left the boxes in the wrong place. This false report could cost me my job, as my company called me to question why I would do such a thing, based on the lies in that report.nnIt’s shocking and unacceptable that someone would misuse their position and the pharmacy’s name to submit a false report. This staff member’s actions have seriously damaged my life and could lead to me losing my job over something that never happened. I strongly believe that if the pharmacy checks the security footage, they will see that I followed all the correct procedures.nnI also want to emphasize the importance of respect. The person who made this false report needs to respect both the place they work in and the country they live in. Australia is a great country, and people here only ask for respect and honesty. This person should appreciate the opportunity to work here, as well as the trust placed in them by both the pharmacy and the country.nnIt’s alarming that someone could make such a false report to damage another person’s livelihood. I hope the pharmacy reviews the footage and holds this staff member accountable. This type of behavior damages the reputation of the pharmacy and breaks the trust of its customers and partners. I expect the pharmacy to take this situation seriously and ensure this kind of behavior does not happen again.
Poor service.. I made super clear to phamacist that I would like the original brand but they provided the generic brand for my 4 prescriptions.. no apologies of course
