Great location with an amazing view of the harbour. They had an outdoor seating area which was perfect for summer brunches. Their menu was quite generic and not very exciting however. Had their burger and falafel Moroccan salad and I found both to be very average if not just below. Service was friendly but rather slow. Would definitely opt to dine at other neighboring restaurants in South Wharf instead.
At the time of order I have been told food will take half an hour, which I appreciated to hear! But it took more than one hour! And this was at the time that they were not overly crowded. I ordered Baltic breaky and one small late, which came to 29 dollars. Food had no special taste, no special vituual appearance. This place it overly priced, and does not worth if. Next time I want to enjoy the view I rather buy a takeaway from a good place and seat on the benches next to the river right in front of this place. I don't have to wait that long, will have a tastier food and will definitely don't feel ripped off. I was not expecting this experience at all here!
Location to our hotel was excellent Novotel. The view was excellent. Meals well presented. BUT 40 minutes for essentially a bacon and egg roll and a smashed avo and two coffees is a little rich. On top of that, $5 extra for two tiny bits of bacon on the smashed avo. we had to request cutlery and get our own napkins, which isn't a big deal, but for a messy roll, is required! If you're looking for a meal with a view, this will tick the box. If you are looking for a meal when you're hungry, steer clear.
Brunch was well worth it. Food was very filling and well presented. Wait time was no issue. And the view was spectacular
Not to bad in this restaurant. It was quiet and things were quite slow to get our order delivered. Overlooking the Yarra River its a great location.
went here before a tattoo and got the old school bacon & eggs and an iced latte. I'm always really fussy about what I eat before a tattoo cause I want to feel really full when it starts and this absolutely did the job. It was so delicious, the wait was not long at all. Everything tasted really high quality and fresh. Will definitely be back
I can understand that this place is severely understaffed and the team's trying their best to give out a good service. I would like to point out some things: - It is very unappetizing to see a wait staff scrape off leftover food from dirty plates and see it being chucked in a bin. They should be doing that where it's not visible to the costumers. AND MAKE THEM WEAR GLOVES AS THEY DO THIS PLEASE. We've noticed them to be doing this then to be called suddenly to serve a dish or drink, it's unsanitary. - As for the bucket of wet and dirty cutleries and dishes that's being left out and I guess it's being grabbed by the dishwasher? Please make this not visible to the costumers as this can be also unappetizing and overall the place feels like there's just too much going on. - We noticed some feathers falling off from the ceiling for the past couple of weeks, I don't know if that's been sorted but you don't want that landing on a costumer's plate.. it can cause a scene. - I've noticed that the wait staff seems to be struggling with serving the coffee and other cold drinks. I've had my experience of serving and being tasked to hand out a drink that's like FILLED OUT TO THE BRIM is not a pleasant task at all. As a result, the cups have coffee dribbles on the side and the other cold drinks were just dripping on their fingers as they try to walk around and find the table. Given your current staff situation, it is really unfair right now and changes are hard to apply. We appreciate the effort though, best of luck mate.
The service was very average here. Very quiet for a Tuesday morning yet such slow pace service. The tables around us had to ask for forgotten items or to check on the wait time again, so quiet so wait times were unusually long. My partner and I were given our meals and he was told his hash brown would be out shortly random it wasn’t just given with the meal? then we had sat and eaten our meals and after about 15 minutes once our plates were taken his hash brown came out. Doesn’t seem to be much order here, slow service and not much care shown by staff.
As tourists we were looking for a cute cafe to eat at. It was not very busy on this Saturday morning and was told it would be a 25 min wait on food, which was fine. Our drinks came out cold … and then our food was over an hour late. once our food arrived the presentation was not the best and my eggs had more water in it than the river outside. A big slap in the face to start the morning and not worth the price. Thanks will not be eating here again!
Good location with a nice view however overpriced and poor food service. On a quiet weekday, it took over 40 minutes for two sandwiches to be made. We paid $7 for a very small side of fries which were barely cooked through and needed to be sent back. This was took another 15 minutes and they came out no different to how they were when they were sent back
