I went to centrelink to upload my bank gaurantee for my AOSthe old lady sitting in the front desk was very rude. After I told her I wanted to find a staff to helpshe persisted that I should upload the document by myself. When I was not sure what category I should choose, I came to her and her told me I should choose “ financial “ I did a bit research online before and knew “ financial” is not the right one to choose, instead I should input Q769, so I told her about this, however she persisted that she was right and asked me if I don’t trust her why I came here. According to her knowledge, she is right. I tried to input W769 and “ AOS bank guarantee” jumped out. That was exactly the right category. So I showed her the evidence, she still thought she was right. Then that is the end of our conversation. Wish my experience can help the people who needs to do AOS in the future. This staff was unprofessional and misleading. Will definitely not go to that branch again.
It is very disappointed that no toilets available here while the label stick on the pillar saying “toilets available on request.” My request was denied! I understand it’s because of covid issue, but I can tell over 95% of their employees are wfh, the lobby is just as empty as like nobody works in there. And, my case has not been resolved at all. Very low efficiency indeed!
If going and seeking financial help from Centrelink didn’t already make you feel hopeless, the staff at this branch will make sure you do. After being directed to speak to someone over the phone and sent on my way with no offer of resolution for my issue, the phone operator informed me there was plenty more they could have helped me with in person if the people here did their job. It has not always been the case in the past but recently I received the cold shoulder. Thanks for nothing and making the process more difficult and upsetting.

After trying to link medicare online for hours online at home, and the digital ID making it worse why make the first name include the middle name??, and the phone number hanging up on us -we went into the Ringwood office. They were extremely professional, very covid safe. Got a call back fast and an extremely helpful Joshua helped us link up the medicare code to the myGov account so my husband could get his covid certificate. Thank you so much, really excellent service. Exceeded our expectations, we were expecting more brick walls!
Don't even think they deserve a rating at all, terrible customer service and rude staff, If you need help this is definitely not the centrelink to goto this office is most certainly not going to help you
I dont even know why are centerlink centers still existing when all they do are asking you to go on the phone only, and you never got to talk to people over the phone as you will probably put on hold for the whole day if you call them. Also except for the security guard in the center who greet and ask me to sanitise my hands, who was extremely well mannered, apparently all other staffs need to learn about manners from kindergarten. If i can give zero i will not hesitate to give it.
My partner and I came in to Medicare to get him his own card. The woman who greets everyone was very helpful and printed out the form we needed, gave us a pen and showed him where he can fill it out and then wait. After around 3 mins we were called to a desk and the woman was most helpful. We ended up applying to be on the same card which we hadn’t considered until she told us we could as well as updating all our details linked to Medicare. She was polite, friendly and very helpful.
I had to show a few original documents as I had scanned and sent in during covid lockdown but needed to fully verify now. Did not have an appointment but walked in off the street. Was seen in less than 5 minutes and out the door in less than 10 minutes. Polite, competent staff and all issues dealt with to my complete satisfaction
Contrary to its current 2/5 stars rating, I actually enjoyed my visit to Ringwood Centrelink. Good conversation whilst waiting to be served which didn’t actually take as long as I thought, and then good conversation with the lady who served me! I reckon the staff are doing a good job.
