It's a nice picnic spot. Has all you need, covered benches, electric barbecue, drinking water, nice children's play area, a very beautiful lake, public toilets, walking, jogging, skating tracks, dog park, list goes on and on...do all you want. Would love to visit this place again.
This dog park is beside the lake which is very beautiful. The view is great however the actual fenced area is in full sun except for 1 seat and a covered table. So be prepared to sweat. After the rain it appears to get muddy puddles so bring a towel for the ride home. Luckily my dog loves muddy puddles. On the morning I went before 10am and there was no other dogs in sight. I didn’t see any toilets nearby but a playground is just over the bridge and I noticed 1 bbq.
Sat with friends on the lake. I hadn't realised somewhere so mellow, tranquil & thought provoking was so close to my chaotic, messy habitat. Will definitely take the time to revisit
Had my grandsons 7th birthday there plenty of room for 40 kids good BBQ facilities and clean toilets kids have to be watched due to the lake not being fenced off
This park is perfect for little kids. The playground will keep them occupied for hours while you cook a bbq. There are 3 bbqs and 3 sheltered areas.nAlso the teenagers can play bball on the half court there as well.nWell equipped with a toilet as well. So hours of family fun all not far from home.nIt is extra quiet as well. More like a secret location so it not busy at all.
