Very peaceful place. Easy walk, suitable for all ages, just that one of the entrances is a bit steep. Very lovely birds around too. Would recommend for a morning walk.

Amazing park I've been to since I was young. Almost all of the park is ment to be a on leash on the spot fines but this seriously isn't forced and in result daily people walk there off leash dogs. 2 months ago my partner got nipped on the leg by a grey labrador and all the owner said was sorry snarkly. Yesterday we also experienced two dogs fighting off leash. This is nuts at it has family's constantly walking through there. The old farm owners also had so much issues with dogs being off leash. Alot of them are self confident egotistical walkers who believe walking there dog is all the matters and arnt self aware of other rules and outcomes around them.
Lovely place for a walk. Dog off leash area on the Western side near Caravel Court, dog must be on leash elsewhere. Concrete paths suitable for stollers. Very nice walk under the shade of the trees and along the river. There is an additional path not shown on google maps. There are also exercise equipment posted along the walk, a drinking fountain with dog bowl, leash tether poles and dog mess bag dispensers. There is wheelchair accessible parking and entrance on Norfolk Esplanade.
A great flora and fauna reserve, with a few kilometres of easy walking tracks meandering around the lagoons and creeks. Lots of open grass area as well. Snapped a few shots of the locals enjoying this wonderful sunny day. Came across an old majestic Eucalyptus tereticornis qld blue gum living its best life directly on the bank, doing its job holding the bank together. Shout out to council for maintaining this wonderful Arboretum.
