A family member who uses Central Hutt Vet Clinic as their cat's regular day clinic phoned through three days after Christmas asking for any available non-urgent appointments, only to be told in a certain tone....."Well that won't be happening till next year" since they were only taking in emergencies. I mean, yes, we get it's the holiday season. But why the snarkiness? The owner here is absolutely lovely, but clearly some of the other staff could benefit from a bit of mindfulness training! After all, people have options, and thankfully in this case the customer was able to book elsewhere, and before the year's end too!!!
The entire staff were amazing. Great service, really engaging, you can tell they all like animals. Have only used this clinic and specifically Dave as the vet and and have had an amazing experience from start to end of my dogs life. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic vet and friendly team. David has been so helpful preparing our dogs for their international trip to join us in Fiji - highly recommend.
When my girlfriend and I took our little dog in for a simple procedure the nurse wouldn't do it sighting she didn't think it was necessary when in actual fact it needed doing really badly. We weren't impressed especially when someone that worked there suggested we should take our dog there instead of somewhere else. Sophie & Kate

David Kettles fantastic vet. Genuinely loves the animals and shows it puts them at ease and the owners . Been going here for over 20 years .
David is a fantastic vet and is amazing with my large dog. My dog has been unwell and David has been informative and honest about the possible options and is happy to take calls to discuss the diagnosis and my post surgery worries. Karen is also a great vet and all of the nurses are lovely. I find their prices to be very reasonable.
Towards my boys last days the team could not have been more kind and caring towards us both. David made special effort to see us or call and check even when he wasn't rostered on. When the time came to need to be put to sleep, the staff were very accommodating and kind when I wanted it done in his beanbag in the car etc. My boy always felt calm and I felt he was always looked after. Thank you
