Traveling from Bayswater North to Parkdale to see a community dentist seems ridiculous but for me it’s worth it because Each FerntreeGully community dentist pales in comparison. The dentists themselves are all very good to great regardless of who you go to but Parkdale is by far the winner because the women who are at the front counter are just really good at their job and the dentists there always books me in for a course of treatment after a check up. where as Each in Ferntree gully the staff and dentists just wanna rush and get me out the door and never call back when I’ve been on the waiting list for years.
Came in for an emergency apt for severe sensitivity in one tooth that also needed a filling.. only to be told she couldn't fix it that day because she didn't have time. The dentist was rude and made me feel even more insecure about my teeth.
A very caring and highly qualified dental technicians dentists technology latest. Must ring and then get on the list for an appointment which will then be scheduled. A very happy experience and very little pain.
My experiences at the Dental Department have been very positive each time I have attended, staff are pleasant and helpful. I had to reschedule an appointment for personal reasons and was shown empathy and understanding by reception staff. Thank you.
Went here last year and the lady gave me a high filling, worst thing I have ever experienced in my life could close my mouth properly and eat. She didn’t use the paper for me to bite down so it didn’t mould properly. She fixed it the next day thank god but I was not happy.
Very good dental services. Understanding of people who suffer from extreme anxiety. Very good price too only $28 per visit regardless of work done. This price is the concession rate. The only downside is extremely long wait for general dental eg exam, clean etc. Can be a 12 month wait. However if you have more urgent needs eg painful teeth you can be seen within a week or 2. The quality of the dental work is excellent and just as good as full fee dentists.
Have waited for over a month to get my wisdom teeth removed. they said I needed to wait 2 weeks to see a dentist, then the dentist refered me to a specialist so that's a 3 week wait. Now all my other teath are in agony! Then possibly ill need braces to straighten them afterwards because my mouth has been left to over crowd for a month and a half. When I called up scared because it's been taking so long the lady on the phone said "I could go private" but I have no parents and live with a legal guardian that has no obligation to spend $600 on my teath. Thanks again for the month wait!?
Fantastic thorough & gentle dentist. I think her name was SAM. My husband had 2 fillings and she was absolutely professional both in her manner & her work. She's to be congratulated. Good job.
Not the best ! Because how does my son's Dental assistant not concentrate on her job, they talked about personal problems while cleaning my son teeth! They nearly dropped the sharp thing in my son face! but the receptionist are good!
I found the receptionists are very rude & sound angry when making appointments on the phone. Ladies you need to lighten up a little when you answer the phone. I don't believe the patients you deal with are that rude.
