Lovely old station. Always clean,  plenty of seating. Could definitely do with some security patrols at night. Not a lot of lighting once you're out of the station and knowing security is on hand would certainly make the wait at night more comfortable.

Pretty alright interchange station in Melbourne's south east suburbs. Served by metropolitan trains to Pakenham, Cranbourne and Frankston, as well as regional trains to Gippsland. Right next to the Caulfield Racecourse, which is handy for races and special events. Connecting public transport includes a multitude of buses and the Route 3/3a tram to East Malvern and Melbourne University.

This train station is useful to switch to the frankston line

if youre headed to the city, go on the pakenham trains as they skip malvern to hawksburn

Nice station, serviced by HCMTS and V/Line. Myki gate arrangement is kind of weird since you have to tap off then on to change trains but not too bad. Services Monash Uni and has trams/buses. Pretty nice.

Not a bad station over all, good location as it connects the Frankson, Pakenham and Cranbourne lines and you've got Monash University there right out front,  lots of shops nearby if youre hungry as well, plenty of worse stations in Melbourne than Caulfield.

Clean and secure manned premium station with enclosed brightly lit waiting area shared between platform's 2 and 3 where the customer service desk is located. Toilets, departures board, frequent city-bound services, vLine to Traralgon/Bairnsdale stops here. Also connecting bus services to Chadstone, Monash University Clayton and beyond; connecting tram to East Malvern one direction or St Kilda the other direction. Has a kiosk in the underpass.

Darran, the local druggie is always very polite. The protesters always handing out Jesus flyers are always very considerate to make sure I ALWAYS have a flyer. Trains are never on time except when I’m running late, then they are always on time.

My train was delayed 5 times making me late to catch a train to upfield for my work deliver your trains on time

Bus was 1 and half hrs late during bus replacement  all have to wait till 2:30 am from 1am so disappointed from this always replacement without any notice and this much late Train service is soooo bad than any another country Just sooooooo bad
