Friendly, comfortable bar, restaurant and hotel. Beautifully cooked food served by lovely staff. Well run and friendly premises that I highly recommend whether you are popping in for a meal, takeaway, just a quick drink and a chat or if staying for a few nights to maybe enjoy the horseracing at the local track, well worth a visit Food & drinks: Lovely food, value for money and served with a smile Noteworthy details: Very friendly and welcoming hotel, restaurant and bar.

Lovely underrated pub, beautiful garden and play area for children. Always a friendly welcome and enjoyable atmosphere.Service: 5/5
Not far from the footbridge into burry port harbour, we only popped in for a few drinks during our stay but we were made to feel welcome by both staff and customers, child friendly with a play area outside however there are no baby change facilities but the staff let us use a room which I thought was very kind. Nearby activities: Nice walks on the beach and in the town Safety: Quiet and seemingly safe village Walkability: Close to the train station and 5 minutes from the beach Food & drinks: Good selection of drinks, we didn't eat but the food looked delicious

Friendly pub, lovely staff, great food, good value Food & drinks: Fabulous Sunday lunch.
We had a booking with this establishment via booking.com for myself and two work colleagues this weekend. After calling to confirm the booking I was told that in order for three guests to stay we would need to pay an additional £25 which we were happy to do. I was then called by the owner and told that the room we had booked was in fact not suitable for three guests despite being booked as such via booking.com weeks earlier and arranged with the hotel employee earlier that day. The owner was unprofessional and asked some very inappropriate questions about the nature of our trips, the genders and ages of the guests, and our professions and places of employment. She also spoke very unprofessionally about booking.com and did not seem happy when I mentioned that as booking.com were her chosen online booking representative it is her responsibility to ensure bookings made via this platform were honoured. She became confrontational and accused me of having a bad attitude ironic given her attitude throughout the conversation. Luckily my colleagues and I have managed to find alternative accommodation locally for our work trip this weekend, however I would strongly recommend others avoid as they may not be as fortunate to find alternative accommodation at such short notice.
What a lovely welcome from not only the owner but the staff as well. Room was fantastic and exceptionally very clean. I've enjoyed my stay there and yes I will be going back
