I booked online via an app but rang as I was going to arrive very late and the staff were extremely accommodating as well as being friendly and helpful. I ended up needing to stay another night & it was Easter w'end! and they made it as easy and pleasant as stay as possible. The room was lovely and clean, they have lovely bathrooms with soap, shampoo and conditioner on tap and on top of the usual amenities there was an ironing board & ironing which I needed available in room. The bed was comfortable and I would have stayed longer if I could have. Definitely recommend!
Staff 2 ladies are exceptionally rude, arrogant and everything seemed to be an effort.nToilet wouldn't flush and after requesting it to be fixed 3 times it was still not addressed,nlinen was appauling, and NO breakfast provided as stated in booking even though confirmed way before cut of. We will be contacting to the appropriate authorities and request a full audit of this premises including staff legitimacy records and recommend actions be taken over the horrendous conditions this establishment operates under. HORRIFIC to say the least!
Warning! Cancellation and refund policies unclear and unfair. Booked and prepaid in full for 2 nights, had to cancel 5 days before due to unforeseen circumstances and was refused any refund or an alternative date. Cost us $368 to not receive any service and it’s likely our room was booked to other customers. Could not find this policy anywhere on-line and it was not mentioned on the phone when we booked or we cancelled. Very disappointing and expensive - feel very ripped off. Will never stay there or recommend. At the very least should have been offered to transfer the pre-payment to another date in the future but they instead just took our money. Terrible customer service. Don’t stay there and take the risk if you need to change your mind.
The good parts first - great location close to town centre. The room was clean and bright. The bed comfortable. The bathroom had been renovated and the shower was great. The staff were friendly and courteous.nThe other parts, and this was a big one for us - The toilet didn't flush! The young lady in reception couldn't get it to work but assured us that someone would look at it while we were out. We returned around 10pm and it hadn't been fixed. We made a phone call and another staff member arrived. Of course she was able to get it to flush and told us what to do. Unfortunately we were not able to get it to flush again. Very frustrating and stressful.nThe other minor negative was no milk in the fridge which we didn't realise until we returned at night.nDisappointing as we would have returned to this motel in the future but not unless the toilet issues are fixed!
Great location, within walking distance to the main part of town. Clean, tidy room, comfy bed, blockout blinds, nice toiletries. Minor thing was that we stayed for two nights and only had enough milk for one day. Great little cafe, ‘Blackbird’, for breakfast just up the road.
