BIG4 Castlemaine Gardens is a proud member of the BIG4 family. We promise you a warm welcome and an enjoyable stay. Our focus is to continually improve our park and its facilities to enhance the experience and comfort of our guests. Staff and Management look forward to welcoming you to BIG4 Castlemaine Gardens and our lovely historic town.

Our Gold & Silver cabin accommodation is clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. We also offer several budget cabins as well as a range of powered sites. Next door is the Castlemaine Botanic Gardens, a lovely area for a stroll along the elm and oak tree lined avenues, colourful rose gardens and lawns

Wow, what a fun place. We stayed in the Safari Tent, and boy did it deliver! Beautiful views, well kept space, and my children loved the little sleep nook. The park was beautifully kept, and I used the communal cooking area for dinner while my children played on the climbing equipment and in the games room. I could watch them from a distance and also cook dinner, win win.nThe best feature is the claw bath out on the deck. This was such a beautiful touch on a cold night-a hot bath.nWe all can't wait to come back for an extended stay because 1 night was not enough!
Castlemaine Gardens Holiday Park is a beauty.nSet right next door to Castlemaine Botanical Gardens, a short walk across the road to The Mill with its fabulous eateries, bars and antique centre, followed by a beer or two at the nearby Bridge Hotel.nThe park itself is set amongst beautiful trees with a variety of sites on offer.nWe booked an ensuite site which was very spacious, modern and clean.nBeing Autumn, the park is a splash of colour.nIt’s a credit to the maintenance crew who ensure that each site is cleared of leaves for the next occupants.nAs for kids, there is a playground and karts available. But a short walk into the Botanical Gardens will offer a lot of family friendly activities.nAt the entrance to the park is a sunken oval and in Summer the town pool is right next door.nHighly recommend this park.
Amazing campsite. Perfect location for exploring Castlemaine and surrounding areas but there also so much on the doorstep if you just want to park up and relax. There’s a pub across the way with fab food, cocktails and entertainment for the whole family. Botanical gardens and public pool are at the entrance to the campsite. The campsite itself was in perfect condition, beautiful setting, it felt so relaxing even when travelling with kids!. The amenities were super clean and tidy. Games room stocked with something for little and big kids, extra fun provided for children during holidays. Staff were super friendly. We cannot wait to come back and stay again very soon. The campsite is small and unassuming but picturesque and perfectly packaged.
What an amazing place to stay.! I recommend to anyone with a family. My kids had an amazing time. Very clean, lovely customer service and great place to stay overall. We will be back :
This caravan park being a Big 4 we thought it would be great so didn't mind paying a 100% mark up on a long weekend. We understand you always pay more for a long weekend.nOur powered site was on small stone so hard you couldn't even get a peg into the ground, the site was small couldn't even fit our car onto the site.nOther than that the caravan park is next to Gardens, fairly close to the local shops 20 min walk.
