Every time I come here the staff are so polite and the food is on point every single time. Fish is fresh batter is the crispiest ever. Chips are crunchy and fresh. It's my weekly takeaway choice in Colac
The best fish and chips I've had for years. Polite staff, good prices and the food is fresh and delicious. Will be back again.
Spent $48 and chips were shriveled and many were grey. Took them back within 1 hour and he didn’t want to know me tried to offer me a tiny package of other chips but when I said no he slapped 3 dollars down on the counter and served another customer Very poor reaction. Not recommended by me.
Absolutely disgraceful. The chips were pale, everything undercooked and tasted like garbage! I honestly wish we didn’t eat here. Go to maccas instead!
Ordered min chips after a hard day's fishing on Lake Colac. Reasonable amount, with a reasonable wait. Filled a hole until I got back home to Ballarat.
Fish was greasy and soggy and the chips went in the bin! Absolutely disgusting!
Asked for crumbed fish and got battered then once taken back we got the same piece of fish given back to us with all the batter just taken off and the fin was still on it. The chips were completely undercooked, and the potato cakes were cold. Was not happy with the service when asking for a refund for the bad quality food either. Service and food was extremely disappointing. Definitely would not recommend.
Pieces of fish were tiny and the chips looked a strange colour. Avoid this shop at all cost.

Wonderful staff. The chips are hand cut and taste amazing. Such a variety of fish and the potato cakes are so good. I’ve never had such good potato cakes.
