Me and my family were happy with our stay there. Spacious, clean & was well priced. Good carparking,Quiet too and we will be back. Cheers

Customer service - friendly, professional, informative but declined to acknowledge the massive disruption of roadworks affecting entry and exit.  Rooms - super clean and private once inside! Everything's else was a downfall unfortunately...spa didn't work, jug didn't work, no heat pump so we used small electric heater that smelt terribly of plastic definitely need x2, one for each room, dated interior.  Location - central to the Palmerston North square and right next to PaknSave. Bit of a walk to shops. Unfortunately there was massive roadworks affecting the entry and exit to the hotel and the rest of the street, I definitely think this should of reduced the room price but it didn't.  Recommend - as a last option, maybe.

Housekeeping was awsome, made sure the room was clean and tidy when we got back to the room, i wish i could have tip them,Rooms: 5/5

Overpriced and the facilities are less than average, they don't even supply hand soap?! And no air con. And the room smelt funny. Not sure how they rate as a 4 star motel - I've stayed in much nicer "3 star" accomodation. But even worse is the owners attitude towards customers. Whilst the lady was checking me in, the man comes out without saying hello even and very abrasively states no visitors after 10pm and he'd be checking the cameras to enforce this. Aside from the frosty attitude, that rule didn't bother me at all, and I didn't have any visitors that night.. Yet at 9.45pm on my second night, he was HARASSING myself and a visitor, who was just getting ready to leave anyway. I told him I am following 'his rules' and I didn't understand what his problem was. He then starts whinging that I left the premises for 45 minutes at 1am!! Sorry mate, but I'd skipped dinner and McDonald's doesn't deliver that late. If I wasn't allowed to leave your prison you should have stated that in the rules up front. I then told him he's crossed the line and needs to p*ss off out my face and he took great pleasure in using that to kick me out without a refund. His wife seemed embarrassed about his behavior and gave me the refund. Get out of hospitality mate it's not for you.

Was very spacious and nice but very old and cold. All windows had condensation and mould. Laundry was closed at 5pm , not great. Single beds were very uncomfortable. should renovate and clean windows throughlyRooms: 2/5

Stayed in the disability room as I'm in a wheelchair. Very spacious & well laid out. Friendly staff, close to local supermarket.Rooms: 5/5

Stayed 3 nights . Was ok had one of the rooms that had not yet been renovated. Was clean and tidy . Easy access and parking. Cleaners did switched off all plugs in the room after cleaning strange thing to do, and left all windows open, not great to come back to room especially in winter.Rooms: 3/5

As a repeat customer of this incredible establishment I can't boast about Camelot motor lodge enough to friends and family. The team are warm and welcoming and the rooms a very comfortable making it my home away from home every time I come to town.Rooms: 5/5
